Vesa is a one-in a million tour guide! Wow! Vesa is the perfect tour guide; he truly cares about his role and giving tourists the best experience. I wish there were more diligent people in this world like Vesa! I did the 17:00 Snowmobiling with Lapland Royal Adventures. We were in a small group (of three), so we managed to go super fast (maxing out at 50km/h). Apparently the 17:00 isn’t a popular time, so if you have a need for speed, choose this time, because less kids, more space and freedom to go fast. We covered 26.3km in 1hr5mins (garmin). Vesa was super cool and let us cover more ground and go as fast as we could. Highly highly recommend him until here. It was what happened after that separates him from others.I could only stay in Rovaniemi for one day, with a train at 9pm. I was doing the Winter Swimming World Championships in Oulu and flying back the day after from Oulu. I hadnt seen the Northern Lights yet.I mentioned I wanted to see the Northern Lights. He kept checking his app, and then he saw an opportunity ON OUR WAY HOME. We jumped out the car, and he took a photo of me, but wasn’t satisfied, so he drove us to a much darker spot he knew about (about 2 mins away) and we did a photo session with his special secret technique (involving a torch and a timer)! The photos were insane and I was stunned at how great they came out! He didn’t have to get out the car or even turn back around, but he cares about giving his customers a great experience. I don’t usually write reviews but was compelled to write this one. Give this man a raise!! A very special guide and one I’ll be raving about for years to come!!

We were greeted in the morning at the Old Pine Husky Lodge, we enjoyed a sleigh ride with the dogs, which we could then pet. The ride lasted just a while to enjoy the experience and preserve the dogs. Then we went to Salmon Lapland Lodge, enjoyed a delicious Burger prepared by Mikka before heading to the lake for a friendly and comfortable ice fishing party. Finally, we left the kota for an extraordinary ride on a snow bike. Adults and teens alike loved exploring nature in these vehicles. On the return a salmon soup prepared with the peach of the day was waiting for us. We spent a very special day with you, we will never forget these moments, they are etched in our hearts!

Driver met us in the hotel with a smile. He told us great stories about his life in Lapland and before. The property that the cottage is situated in is picturesque and beautiful. Very authentic and clean. We had a fun cooking class with Eliana, chef and hostess was a great teacher. She guided us to create a delicious soup. We enjoyed dinner together and for dessert a homemade berry pie. Go on this tour you will not be disappointed!

Highlight of our trip, was such a good experience and loved Lauri our guide. We got picked up/dropped off from our cabin. Even though we didn’t see the northern lights, the lake was amazing, the Finnish dinner was delicious and we loved hearing all the facts and stories about Finland. Definitely recommend this one!

The whole experience was great as we were able to be flexible with the dates depending on the forecast of the aurora and ended up seeing it. There is no guarantee to see the aurora as it is really weather dependant but you could increase your chances by keeping track of the forecast yourself. I would recommend staying at least a few nights and booking for the first night and then changing the dates later. Staff were great but based on the wording of the booking, I was expecting it to be run by a Sami person as we were looking for something not too touristy, but the guide ended up being Finnish even though he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our group had a few really talkative people so if you like that that is great but we would have preferred a bit more of a balance of people asking questions. Overall, very worth it but if you’re going in January be prepared for the cold and overcast skies.

It was my first time using the app! I wonder if it's really okay, but lol They even welcomed me back! Including us, there were 8 Japanese participants in 3 groups! Once we rented what we needed while we were putting down warm clothes and went to Inari Lake. It was so cold. But it was such an exciting experience! It was also good to have a small group! For dinner, we had bread and reindeer soup, a large sausage, blueberry cake and hotberry juice. It was very cold to get on the sled and pulled by snowmobile, but it was a good experience! Luckily, maybe the Northern Lights?! Because it was nice to see it!

This was a great experience, great guide. The food offering was great. To experience the traditional sauna experience is well worth doing in my opinion.
