Top French Polynesia Shopping Tours

We booked this experience a while in advance, and I am SO glad we did! By far one of the best things we decided to do while in Mo'orea. As soon as we arrived Stevenson welcomed us as if we were coming into his home, shoes off, coffee offered & conversation to make us feel comfortable. The other parties arrived and we got straight into things, learning history and culinary techniques as well as the extensive range of produce that grows locally. Everyone got involved, chopping, slicing, blending, shredding coconuts; we saw and learned so much and cooked such a range of dishes that at the end of the experience, we all got to taste banquet style! A really delicious meal, with fantastic hosts in a beautiful setting & an experience that will stay with us for a long time.

Immersive experience in Polynesian culinary culture. Delight for the taste buds and discovery of sweet and savory recipes, wood-fired cooking, and plenty of "tips" for enjoying local dishes. Thanks to Audrey and Stevenson.

Tura was an amazing guide, attentive, friendly, and thoughtful! Fabulous walk worthy of immersion in a postcard scene The meal was worthy of a gourmet restaurant And the various stops were interesting (perfect for bringing back little local souvenirs for our loved ones - Pearl Vanilla Rum) We will come back because it's Tura 🫶

We spent the day with Tura and it was a day worthy of a dream. We visited several snorkeling spots, including the famous coral garden. We were able to observe everything most beautiful in the lagoon (rays, sharks, corals, fish of all colors, etc.)We were also able to visit several local farms, in particular the rum and vanilla, which were excellent. To top it all off, we ate on a motu where we were alone in the world, the dishes prepared at home by Tura which were to die for.Tura does his best to show you the best places in Taha’a and organizes things so that you are as comfortable as possible (schedules with few crowds, tour adaptation, etc.) We therefore recommend him to everyone!

Jose was the best guide . He speak in Spanish did the tour more easy for us . The Pearl and vanilla tour was excellent

The Pearl Factory was very interesting and learn some thing about pearl that I did not know. Rum Distillery with OK. Rum to strong for me. Vanilla Plantation with small but very nice and interesting. Was able to purchase some vanilla extract that I wanted. Each Staff member at these places were able to answered all question and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this tour to others.

This is a great experience. Audrey and Stevenson really show how Polynesian cooking uses local produce (mostly from their garden) and in the course of a few hours we were able to prepare a wonderful lunch. I would definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed our time and experience at the Food&CookLab during a stop in Moorea of our cruise. Stevenson, Audrey and Therese were the best hosts you can imagine! Stevenson took us through the history and diversity of Tahitian cuisine leveraging local ingredients and influence. From there and together with other guests we put together a delicious traditional Tahitian festive which was a lot of fun. Stevenson is an encyclopedia on many topics including cooking which made our group experience even more enjoyable. We learned a lot. The meal we put together was out of this world and full of flavor with quality ingredients. I would recommend this activity to anyone who wants to experience the authentic Tahitian food culture.

An extraordinary day spent in the company of Turatahi. What a guide! Kind, attentive, passionate, available, accommodating... you have to experience it to believe it! We were able to share in Polynesian culture for a day; we are deeply grateful for it! Thanks Tura for everything!!!

An absolutely incredible excursion! I experienced an unforgettable day, marked by an extraordinary first: swimming with sharks. An experience that is both impressive and magical that I will never forget. The local food prepared was varied, generous, and delicious. Each dish was a wonderful discovery of Polynesian flavors. We were the only participants along with Tura, his wife, and their son, which made this day even more special. We felt like we were spending time with family, in a warm, authentic, and friendly atmosphere. Very beautiful encounters, rich cultural discoveries, and memories filled our minds. A big thank you for this exceptional experience that I recommend without hesitation!

This experience is fun and exciting. You will be visiting each stop by boat. The stops are exciting and very educational.

Would recommend. Our boat looked newer than in the photo description. Great tour even though it rained.

Very beautiful experience with Stevenson as our guide who shared the culinary richness of his island with us. After we all participated in the preparation of several recipes, we gathered around a large table to savor an excellent meal. A big thank you to him and his entire team, it was a real treat. We had the most magical day learning about Polynesian culture and Tahitian cooking while making new friends from other parts of the world. Audrey and Stevenson were so welcoming and shared all their wonderful knowledge. It was so lovely to spend time in the lush garden and learn about different crops and share a meal with other travellers to this beautiful island. I highly recommend this experience.

May be the best experience on Mo'orea. Stevenson and Audrey are sensational hosts for three reasons. 1. So welcoming. We were a French and English speaking group which they navigated with ease. By the end when we all sat down to share our meal and language was no longer a barrier. 2. They shared not only their talents in cooking local dishes, but involved everyone - kids and adults were chopping, mixing, and prepping banana leaves over an open flame with trust and care. 3. You eat like a king! This may be the best value for money in all of French Polynesia. A full history/culture lesson about the ingredients (like bread fruit, coconuts, and tuna (aka Ahi/Thon). And lunch is a multi course meal, with poisson cru, ahi, marlin, ipo (coconut bread), coconut chips, toasted breadfruit, and finished with banana poi. Seriously delicious and you get all the recipes! 10/10 highly recommend. Even if you're staying in Tahiti coming to Mo'orea just for this experience is totally worth it.

Wonderful activity. Stevenson is a charming host, full of information about Moorean food, plants and culture. The cooking was fun and the food was delicious. Top recommendation.
