This is a great way to spend a few hours and be creative. Small class size and way to do. The instructor is very helpful even if you aren’t creative.You use a series of plastic stencils to create a design on paper and then paint with watercolor That design is scanned onto a transfer material and then onto a tile. The instructor cleans up the design as appropriate to make it look neat. You will be amazed at the results.

Absolutely worth every penny! The company called a car (uber) to get us to the beach. Our group had experienced people with us and we were the only first time surfers, so we had an instructor to ourselves. He was amazing and we were all up on the boards surfing the waves in no time. After the lesson, we were allowed to stay at the beach and we could let them know when we were ready to uber back. And they even called the car to bring us straight to our hotel instead of the meeting spot. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

Amazing experience with Special Surf 78! The instructors were incredibly kind, patient, and dedicated. They put a lot of effort into teaching, explained everything clearly, and gave everyone individual attention. I accidentally left my GoPro with them, and they are doing everything they can to arrange its return and send it back to me. I truly appreciate their exceptional kindness and willingness to help. Surfing with them was an absolute pleasure—highly recommended!

Best surf school, amazing teachers
Special Surf 78 is the best surf school in Peniche - the teachers are all very socially competent, they give individual feedback after class and during lessons, which helps a lot to improve technique, and it is great fun too. The groups are not too big and everything is perfectly organised despite a lot of demand in the summer. I had a perfect experience both as a beginner and in the outside, big recommendation. They also do classes for children or people with special needs, great experience.

This was an incredible and breathtaking experience. Miguel was a wonderful guide that quickly became our friend. He was patient, kind, funny, and very knowledgeable about the history and terrain of the places we visited. He took photos throughout our trip for us as well which was awesome. The trek can be a bit of a scramble at times but Miguel made it manageable with his great tips and tricks and a helping hand throughout the trip. I highly recommend closed toed shoes with good grip for this hike and so does Miguel! This was an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend anyone visiting the area do this experience with Miguel.

This tile painting workshop was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Lisbon! From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed into a beautiful and inspiring studio.The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about Portuguese tile art, making the history and techniques easy to understand and enjoyable to learn.Even though I had no previous painting experience, I was guided step by step and ended up creating a tile that I'm truly proud of. It was such a rewarding experience to learn a traditional Portuguese craft while expressing my own creativity.The atmosphere was relaxed, the materials were excellent, and the small group made the experience feel personal and engaging. I loved taking home a unique souvenir that I had made myself. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Lisbon—whether you're travelling solo, as a couple, with friends, or as a family. A truly unforgettable experience!

My son and I wanted to hike while visiting Portugal and decided to book a private guided exploration. It was a 10/10 hike! Miguel led us through beautiful trails overlooking pristine beaches, and led us down to a remote beach for a swim. The elevation was challenging and rewarding. Exactly what we were looking for. Miguel was the best guide, knowledgeable and so kind. It felt like we were hiking with a friend. I’d highly recommend!
