The best snorkelling and lagoon tour on Moorea
This was our second trip with Alex Lagoon Tours and once again it did not disappoint. Alex is the ultimate guide - knowledgeable, friendly, calm and fun. We experienced so many highlights from hanging off of the back of the boat trawling amongst the turtles and eagle rays to encountering the friendly sting rays and black tip reef sharks on the sand bank. Next up was free snorkelling in between motus with an incredible coral garden and fish followed by a stint at the most amazing purple coral. We highly recommend Alex and can’t wait until our next trip.

Our snorkeling tour with Manu and Nono was our favorite part of our honeymoon! The full day tour was 100% worth it. Manu is so energetic, funny and welcoming, and Nono was an experienced boat captain who helped everyone feel comfortable. I am not an experienced snorkeler, but my husband is, and the excursion was the perfect level for both of us. The lunch was delicious, and we got to see around the entire island of Bora Bora. Pickup was very easy at our resort and we were right on time for pickup and drop off. Manu also sang for us and the fire dance was incredible! We recommended the tour to other couples at our resort and they loved it too.

I highly recommend this adventure! From the time the crew picked us up to the time they dropped us off we were totally in awe. A beautiful tour of the shorelines and the gorgeous shades of blue of the ocean. We encountered whales and sea turtles and swam with the sharks and the rays. The crew very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our trip amazing.

We had the best day of our trip out with Captain T! He took us around the lagoon to snorkel with sharks, rays, moray eels and tons of tropical fish! Then him and Nico served us an unbelievable lunch at a private motu! They taught us how to weave plates and make crowns out of palm leaves! We had such a great time just hanging out with the two of them! They are really good guys, funny and just a fun couple guys to be around! Couldn’t recommend the tour more! Thanks T and Nico!

One of the best experiences of my life! We were lucky to have such an experienced and kind crew to make sure we got the most out of our time. Sofia Vegas was our photographer, and she took some of the most amazing pictures and videos for us! Also huge thank you to our guide Louise to get us positioned in the water correctly and making us feel safe and comfortable the whole time, as well as Captain Andrew for his kindness and skill. A perfect day despite some gloomy weather. A huge thank you to Chad and Wilson who took great care of us and were very attentive. Included in the excursion: towel, snorkeling equipment, water. Exceptional program throughout the day with a show, excellent menu, good humor, and kindness from the guide and the captain. Fabulous spots with manta rays, corals, sharks, fish, Chad even introduced us to a moray eel!!!!! Chad's beautiful voice as a bonus, which enlivened the day with his songs. A must-do!!!!

We booked the private tour to go in search of whales in Moorea and we were not disappointed. Having the boat all to ourselves was really a plus. It was much more pleasant and quiet than a group outing; we could take our time, ask our questions, and fully enjoy the outing. The guide explained a lot of things to us about whale behavior and clearly explained the instructions to us before getting into the water. We felt confident from start to finish. After a short search, we finally found a singing male. It was already incredible to see him from the boat, but being able to observe him in the water was truly a special moment. It is clearly one of the best memories of our trip to Polynesia. If you want to see the whales in Moorea in good conditions and especially enjoy a truly pleasant and personalized moment, we recommend this outing with our eyes closed. Thanks again for this magnificent day!

The best of the best! How can one talk about this activity without mentioning William! This guide is just extraordinary. Funny, kind, competent, and endearing. Beyond the countless sharks, rays, and turtles that we were able to observe during this day, William is and will certainly remain the best encounter. Songs, ukulele, cultural information about the island, traditions, cuisine, hat making, sarong tying, or even medicinal plants, this outing was very rich. The boats are made up of a limited number of people, making the experience more intimate. We highly recommend this activity.
