Nice relaxing cruise on catamaran - and we saw pod of dolphins. Boat crew were friendly. Not too many people on board so plenty of room to spread out. Nice trip along coastline followed by a swim. Great to be out on water.

Amazing experience! 🐋🐬 We really enjoyed the whale and dolphin watching tour. Everything was very well organized, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Seeing the dolphins and whales in their natural habitat was absolutely beautiful and unforgettable. We had an amazing full-day Jeep tour of Madeira with Jazz as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day so fun and relaxed. We got to see so many beautiful parts of the island that we would never have found on our own, and Jazz did a great job tailoring the day to what we wanted to see. He gave us clear expectations of what to do at each stop, and kept the day running efficiently without us getting stuck in huge lines or crowds. Highly highly highly recommend this tour, and especially Jazz!

From the start of the tour, you get a real insight into the tastes and culture of Funchal. Our friendly guide made the whole experience even more interesting and the food was amazing! Even if walking tours are not usually your thing, this is a gentle stroll with lots of stops and opportunities to take in the surroundings. I would highly recommend.

It’s September and down in Funchal is was a beautiful day. We were shocked that it was so cold on top. Even though I had a light jacket the guide scrounged a winter jacket for several of us on the right. My husband had a rain suit back at the hotel but we never dreamed we’d need it. The wind was grueling. It was so wet that we could wring our clothes out. Not everyone made it all the way but you should definitely do this tour. We were up in the clouds and it was like walking on the top of a mountain. It was the best thing we did on this island. My advice bring a warm jacket that is waterproof if you can even if it’s beautiful at your hotel. At age 62 I made it all the way but some people could not go all the way. You should be in decent shape. Also wear shoes with good grip. Some of the rocks are slippery. When you get to the point where you see the gate …turn around…take a picture. This is where all the Google pics of people posing are. This is the hike you will remember your whole life….I guarantee it.

An amazing day out you get to see dolphins and then when they get to the end they drop anchor so you can jump off the front of the boat and go for a swim in the sea and then back, we were luckily enough to encounter a pot of dolphins

Amazing, best money we have spent on a trip. Got picked up and dropped off at hotel. So was very easy to get to. We booked online though lokaly. Where we found this buggy tour. What can a say apart from wow. Once we get to the office we filled out a wavers and if you want to drive which both of us did. We have to show our driving licence. (Make sure you take it) Once done you get the option of helmet or googles and a jacket. We went for the googles and jacket. There is lockers at the office. I would say after doing the trip to put your stuff in them and only take what you need. Bottle of water Camera Money (stop of at a little bar) Once we were done we got the low down on how the buggy worked and off we went. Wow Wow Wow So much fun got to stop at the top for pictures. Drive around the cows and stopped for a drink on the way back before coming back to the office and being dropped off. Don’t want to say to much about the trip as you need to do it. But you will need a shower once home. It’s very dusty

We would highly recommend this experience to anyone. Luís gave really good instructions and help the day in advance of the hike. Cláudio is a legend (he brought us on the tour). He collected us on time at the start of the day, was super friendly despite the early start, and despite our best efforts to ensure him we would be fine with the cold (being Irish) he was there to help us with some spare jackets when things got cold. He hung around whilst we watched the sunrise and was there for us when we got back to show us where to go next for PR3. After the day out and we got back to the coffee stop, and we all enjoyed coffees and delicious food together over great conversations. Good communication on booking and pick-up details. Pick up was exactly on time, and the group was only 7 people, which I appreciated. When the weather turned and we were unable to do the planned hike, rather than call it quits, Claudio took us below the rain clouds and to another sunset viewpoint. He managed to salvage the day by going above and beyond.Recommend this excursion for anyone who doesn't have a rental car or just doesn't feel up to navigating the mountain roads at night.

Our tour guide was Ana Louisa and she was just amazing! So knowledgeable and personable. She really made the tour feel relaxed and like everyone although we had just met could be comfortable and enjoy our shared spaces. She encouraged us to enjoy, relax, and just be present in the moment. I would 100% recommend others getting a tour by her! Well organised trip. Picked up from hotel. Arrived in good time to get in to position to watch the sunrise. Excellent experience. Then walked to viewing point on PR1 and back before good walk down PR3 route for about 7km. Took 2.5 hours. Need moderate fitness for older people. 2 people went the wrong way but route well marked. If you download Mapy as advised and reference it to follow route then its impossible to go wrong. Superb cafe at end.

wonderful whale watching experience! We were lucky enough to see two dolphins but, beyond that, we had a great time with the On Tales crew. They provided us with water and drinks, information about the place we were seeing and about the animals, in addition to answering some tourist questions about the island. The approximately 2h30 tour includes a stop for a swim in the open sea for about twenty minutes (during which the crew provided us with masks and towels) and a photo service that allows you to observe the horizon without worries. Absolutely highly recommended and a great value for the price!

This is a great way to see the whales and dolphins, the boat is relatively small so its easy to see everything on both sides of the boat. There was so much to see - the best trip yet for the variety and quantities of wildlife. Both the pilot and guide were very knowlegable and friendly.

The path is jungle like with beautiful scenery. The falls weren’t running fast because it was in September but still a nice spot. Our guide, Elvio, was organized and knowledgeable. We loved the 1/2 mile tunnel too!!

The details on the pick-up time and address were communicated at the evening before the tour day, I would have prefered to have had this data in advance, at least in the first half of that day. Apart from that I'm happy with the event. The van was comfortable, air-conditioned. The driver was a nice man, polite and was giving comments about places visited. Can recommend.

The most incredible hike! I've done a fair few big hikes in my time and this was up there with the best! I can't recommend enough how much you need to do this trip!!!Our guide was Pedro, he was friendly, professional and an overall great guy.You get plenty of time for the walk itself and the transfers were smooth and easy.
