The crew and captain were outstanding. The glacier and views were breathtaking. We especially appreciated the ample time given to view and take pictures. The crew went above and beyond to get the perfect photo opportunities. Perfect time of day yours and perfect length of tour. From start to finish they created a lifetime of memories. Thanks to all!

Four adults, we were all impressed with Captain Laura and Major Marine. A new catamaran specially built to their specs, very comfortable and stable. Good organization, good lunch which we preordered, lots of space inside and out to see the animals and glaciers. Going in mid-Sept., some wildlife such as humpback whales not available (and we saw one puffin, mostly gone that late in the year), but we had great luck with orcas, sea lions, seals, an eagle and a black bear. Glaciers gorgeous too.

Driver was, comical, knowledgeable and had good interpersonal skills. Kenny was a great guide, informative!

The cruise is short but sweet, but maybe a little bitter-sweet too knowing that the glacier is retreating so rapidly. The crew was very nice. Our narrator Jo had all the info and kept a good balance of information and fun but while also allowing us time to enjoy the sites. The crew helped take photos of us with a life ring. And they had retrieved some of the glacial ice from the water on earlier cruises so I was able to touch the glacier indirectly. There are snacks and soft drinks on board. There was plenty of parking.

DO NOT MISS THIS EXCURSION!!! Austin and Rio put us onto some great wildlife. Whales bubble netting and breaching, bald eagles, and more. The ride out and back professionally managed wakes, and the wildlife info from Rio was extremely informative.

Dylan was a great guide. So many details about the cities history, great sense of humor. Dylan greeted each party, handled the diverse group well. Bonus., He knew where we could find oysters and champagne food spot.

Went on the Sept.7th tour. Our driver Archie was personable, friendly and kept us entertained! Mendenhall Glacier & Nugget Falls were spectacular. Definitely recommend this tour!!!

This was an amazing trip. We started at Mendenhall Glacier and had about an hour on our own to explore. People had time to take the trail to Nugget Falls or check out the Visitors Center. Then we boarded the boat for whale watching, where the smaller boat and group made it easy to see the whales and hear the information that the naturalist, Jade and Capitan, CJ were giving. We saw so many humpback whales feeding and were on the water for 2 hours. It was a really special day and our group got lucky seeing a big group of whales feeding together. This is the best whale watching I have ever done.

Excellent time! The captain made sure we got to see plenty of orcas. Lots of people but the crew gave great attention to everyone individually. If you are prone to seasickness, come prepared since the waters can be a bit choppy.

The weather cooperated and the trip on the river was relaxing and very informative. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Our guide was great! The stop at the native village was a highlight. Was interesting to see how life used to be. The blueberry donuts were so good! The salmon sample convinced me to buy some to bring home. Would recommend!

Lexie was a delightful tour guide, safe driver to the Mendenhall glacier. It was rainy, but we were prepared. Finding the tent was a bit of a challenge, but kind guide for another tour group helped us out. We were on the other side of the building where the tent was located.

Lovely views of the glaciers and it was awesome on the plane. I've never taken off and landed on the water before. A great experience! And the pilot was cute!

We have taken this tour twice. The first time was great, the second time, it was even better. That was because of our very good driver/tour guide Lily. She was fun and informative and she could sing! Very, very good tour. I highly recommend.

Great experience on the Riverboat Discovery tour. We really liked having the simulcast of the narration and also being able to see what was going on the sides of the boat with the broadcast. The optional food and drinks were a bargain compared to every other meal that we ate in Alaska. Just wish that we also got to see the float plane take-off.
