Top Alaska Multi-day Tours

This was my first trip to Alaska and my friend's umpteenth. She had already seen a lot of Alaska, but traveling the mostly unpaved Denali Highway was still on her bucket list. I knew I didn't want to do a cruise boat. The Denali Highway trip was a win, win for both of us. It was like having a private tour, just the two of us with Lindsay and a personable photographer. We appreciate all the information we got from her. She taught us to identify and pick a variety of berries, We found moose tracks along the pond and along the highway. We ran into several moose mamas and their young ones - both crossing the roadway and down in the pond. Saw even more hunters; a slice of Alaskan life. A highlight was seeing a caribou with her young one with a bull caribou bringing up the rear... not the dad I hear, but a suitor. I think the photographer got a great photo of this trio; can't wait to see it. The scenery was pretty spectacular the whole trip. We did a rush trip to Denali National Park and a rush trip to catch our red-eye flight home. Two very full days. Oh, oh, I forgot to mention we did get woken up about 11:30pm the first night to see the Aurora over the Macleron River. A plus, we got our photos taken with that and they turned out awesome.

I signed up for the tour based on the activities listed in the brochure, but one of the best parts ended up being the additional side trips Kyle added to enhance our experience. We hiked to waterfalls, visited an Iditarod museum where we even enjoyed a dog sled ride, and took an extra boat trip on Portage Lake to see a glacier up close — absolutely incredible.Alaska is enormous, so wildlife is naturally spread out; it’s not condensed like Yellowstone. Our group hoped to see bears and moose in the wild, and Kyle delivered. We also spotted bald eagles, otters, puffins, seals, and orcas in their natural habitat. He took us to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center as well, giving us the chance to view other animals up close. On top of that, he generously shared his own videos and photos with the group, which was such a thoughtful touch.Kyle is deeply knowledgeable about Alaska’s history, wildlife, and plant life. He is incredibly friendly, very helpful, and clearly passionate about sharing the region with his guests. He made the tour fun, informative, and full of moments we’ll never forget. 10 out of 10 experience!! Our guide Kyle was amazing, accommodating, thoughtful, and knew all the best spots to stop and view the wild Alaska wilderness. We took the ATV and kayaking trips and were very impressed with the entire adventure. It is a memory that that won't soon be forgotten.

An absolute life bucket list adventure. Connor was readily available to answer questions I had making sure I was satisfied. Everyone working in the lodge was extremely friendly. It felt like a home away from home.

This was one of the best trips I’ve been on! TRVLD helped me check off four bucket list items: traveling to Alaska, seeing the northern lights, dog sledding, and snowmobiling. In addition we got to visit Running Reindeer Ranch, spend time in the natural hot springs and drink out of ice martini glasses at the Aurora Ice Bar. We also saw plenty of moose which was a first for me!From start to finish, everything was set up perfectly. Connor, the owner of TRVLD, was incredible to work with and made sure every detail of the trip was thoughtfully planned. He put together an amazing itinerary, and the lodge we stayed at was beautiful with the most hospitable staff (shoutout to Cory & Jack). They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It was so cozy and I loved that the heaters in the room were electric fireplaces 🪵☃️Having everything planned out for us made the trip go so smoothly and be completely stress free. We were amazed at the awesome beauty of Alaska and the majesty of the mountains and wildlife. The glaciers were magnificent! Our tour guide was Kyle, who was always checking on everyone in our group and genuinely concerned for our level of enjoyment and wellbeing. He kept the atmosphere light, fun, and high energy. Excellent leader and organizer. There were a couple of long travel days but Kyle would check in with the group for opportunities to stretch our legs and always offering refreshments. Excellent trip with ‘Cameron’ as tour guide. A gem of a person and world life enthusiast. Takes every care to ensure one has the best time possible. And the manager ‘Patti’ provides online support before even the tour starts. Caring people.

Our family of 12 really enjoyed the trip! Pat was a great tour guide. Not only did we see several different animals, Pat had us on time for all our activities. Not an easy task with 12 people. He felt like part of our family. Definitely encourage other families to take this tour.

This tour was completely worth it, my wife and I had a great time made lots of memories, the wildlife and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Our tour guide Pat was amazing. Our second brush buck tour to date and we will definitely do another one in the future.

Had an excellent 5 day tour of Alaska with our guide Andrew! He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He treated everyone very nicely and our 11 and 7 year old grandkids loved him and how he interacted with them. Andrew was very accommodating to our requests and always had good suggestions of activities and places to visit or eat. Andrew was great at spotting game during our Denali bus trip. I highly recommend BrushBuck tours and especially Andrew as a guide. Will definitely consider them for an Africa trip when the girls are older.

Want to highly recommend the 5 day Alaska tour. The wildlife and sights were beyond expectations. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the wildlife and geological aspects of Alaska. We returned home with a much broader appreciation for Alaska thanks to his input.

Took the five day Alaska tour with Kelsey and could not have had a better experience. Kelsey was passionate about the natural world, always informative, and constantly energetic; it felt like leaving a friend when we had to say goodbye. We saw & learned so much more in a short time that we ever could have on our own. I can't recommend this tour highly enough, and I'd be thrilled to travel with BrushBuck again.

My family of 6 adults had an incredible experience on the 5-Day Alaska Tour with BrushBuck. The tour touched on spectacular sites and covered a lot of ground throughout Alaska. Our guide, Kelsey, was unbelievably knowledgeable; it can't be understated how much our experience was enhanced by spending 5 days in the wild with a Naturalist! We learned so much. Though Alaska is outdoorsy in nature, we were comfortable; accommodations, food, and transportation were thoughtfully selected. Our guide was flexible, detail-orientated, and made sure our entire group of 10 people had an excellent experience. We would certainly use BrushBuck again, and will be requesting Kelsey!

I had a wonderful 5 days tour with Brushbuck in Alaska. Each day was amazing with scenic roads, many stops for wildlife and photos, and fun activities. Our guides Mark and Kyle were very good and I learnt a lot with them. They took care of us everyday, they were very good drivers as well. The van was comfy and we had water and snacks inside ( I loved the chocolates and candies bag !). I loved the Alyeska tram and view the first day, and the grizzlys that we saw very close at the Wildlife conservation center. On the 2nd day, we went to Seward, a gorgeous coastal city with incredible views. The cruise was really amazing, we got to see whales, orcas, sea lions, porpoises, otters, and spectacular glaciers. Seeing the glaciers this close is unforgettable. The Denali activities day was great too, I did the nature hike and I highly recommend it if you're interested in plants and in learning how the ecosystem works. The rafting was super fun too. I absolutely loved the hotels (big rooms and even sea view in Seward) and the choice of restaurants for our meals : the breakfasts were amazing everyday (especially the first one in Anchorage and the last one in Denali : 5 stars) and the dinners were very good too (with local sea food in the coastal places). I only wish the week was longer and I want to book the longer tour in Alaska next time.
