Chazz was a very knowledgeable and engaging host. His knowledge of both Hamilton (the person, people and musical) was amazing and brought to life what, for me anyway, was just a musical. The walking part is easy with just a few steps and visits an area close to The Battery. It’s amazing how many old buildings remain in NYC and I hope they remain so. For those who are wandering, this is a history trip which is linked to the show. Chazz plays some of the shows numbers to link in to the historical story, I would say it helps if you’ve seen / listened to the show.PS for Chazz’s grandkids, he definitely doesn’t rap !! :)

Chazz is an excellent tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our Hamilton Tour today. His knowledge about the history behind the story as well as background about Lin Manuel Miranda and the creation of the musical, brought a whole new level of understanding to the genius of this production. A must for all Hamilton fans!

Our tour guide of “The Hamilton Tour” was Leo Goodman. We really enjoyed the sites we saw and the stories we heard. He was also very accommodating to the guests including my 10 year old Hamilton superfan daughter and my mom who is almost 80. My daughter has been re-telling his stories and facts since. It was the highlight of her trip. All around, he did a fantastic job in every way, and I recommend this tour.

Unique, clever tour tying historical events of Hamilton's life to actual locations, with clips from the musical. Chaz is very knowledgeable and entertaining. My husband has a degree in history, had read Chernow's book and seen the musical, and he believed the history conveyed was accurate, and he learned things he didn't know.Only caveat - I think tour is advertised as 2.5 hours. Our was closer to 3.5 hours and we had to cut out at 3 hours to make our plane. Would have happily stayed to the end - we were enjoying it very much.

We’ve done many walking tours and what makes them great is when the guide has lots of personality and brings events to life. Chazz is one such guide. This tour was so entertaining! It’s clear that Chazz has a passion for history and for Hamilton (the man and the musical). I loved seeing and hearing about all the hidden gems in the Financial District that you’d surely miss if you weren’t guided. Of course, linking the tour to the musical is pure genius. It really puts the play in perspective and gives you a new understanding of Its intricacies. Practically, Chazz provides bluetooth headsets so he’s not yelling at you the whole time (like other tours we’ve seen), he takes sitting breaks, and you get to see lots of cool spots. Highly recommend.

Our tour guide was Leo Goodman who was the absolute BEST guide we’ve ever had! I’m a former history teacher - and have been to NYC many times - and I still learned so much from Leo. He was very entertaining and genuinely nice. We all highly enjoyed ourselves!
