Reindeer and Snowmobile Day Trip to Borealis Basecamp with Lunch
Overview
On your reindeer tour, our experienced reindeer handlers will introduce you to the herd of reindeer at Borealis Basecamp, and you can feed, meet, and take pictures with these incredible animals.
On your snowmobile tour, your route traces a path along the famous Trans Alaska Pipeline, with a detour through a genuine Alaskan trapline. This tour will treat you to sweeping views of the arctic valleys and the White Mountains as you ride at a comfortable pace through the snowy forest. Watch out for animal tracks in the snow, or if you're lucky enough, wild life sightings can happen even in the coldest of conditions! As you ride, your guide will point out notable features in the trail and can answer questions you may have about the area.
What's Included
- Lunch $20 voucher for lunch at Latitude 65! This covers the majority of our regular lunch menu. Reservations are not required!

Meeting and Pickup
We will pick you up from your desired pick up location between 9:30am and 10am on the day of your tour! Keep an eye out for our black sprinter vans! They have a 1' sticker on the side with our Borealis Basecamp logo on it. Please be ready for pick up by 9:15am!
What To Expect
We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning. It is a 45 minute drive North on the world famous Elliott Highway to Borealis Basecamp. We are located in the heart of the Boreal Forest, with panoramic views of the valley.
Included in your package is a 1-hour snowmobile tour and a 30-minute long reindeer meet and greet tour.
You will drive your own snowmobile on a groomed trail through the Boreal Forest, with views of the Trans Alaska Pipeline and more.
On this 30 minute long tour, you have the chance to meet our resident Alaskan born reindeer. They live at Basecamp year round, living on a diet of reindeer feed and natural treats. Your tour guide will show you how reindeer live in the Alaskan Arctic year round and give you the opportunity to feed and take photos with them!
Lunch is held at Latitude 65, our on-site restaurant. The menu consists of hot and cold sandwiches, noodle dishes, and a rotating menu of features and fresh soups.
You may also take part in some of our complimentary resort activities.
You depart from Borealis Basecamp at 4:30pm.
Please note that if we have insufficient snow to run the snowmobile, we will be using utv's as a replacement vehicle.

- Minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian
