Overview

The acutal time for this activity is approx half an hour with actual air time of 5 - 7 mins (Longer flights can priced accordingly). With this skip-the-line ticket, it enables you to jump on board our speedboat with 1 FREE OF CHARGE SPECTATOR (per Double), after a short speedboat ride to our launching pad, you will be kitted out with your certified safety gear and recieve a safety breifing. Once your feel comfortable get ready for take off! To enjoy a serene "Birds Eye" view of the spectaular Canal D' Amour famed for its incredible coastline and a peak over the Albanian Mountains. You will also enjoy our "Touch and Go" speciality where half way through your flight your "chute" will go down to dip your toes into the cool ocean before taking off again (in accordance to wind conditions), returning to the pad to prepare for landing. Cross this activity off your Bucket List TODAY. This activity is a very serene experience requiring the minimum of physical fitness!

What To Expect

The whole activity takes approximately 15 mins from shore back to shore. Share the surreal experience of soaring through the sky over the Corfu coastline on a tandem paraglide. You will take a short speedboat ride out to our sea-based launchpad, then we will kit you out with your necessary safety gear. You will then receive your safety briefing before gently taking to the air for your 2 km flight taking approxi,ately 5 to 7 minutes airtime, depending on the wind. With no experience necessary, this paragliding ride is a great way for travelers to get their thrills. See Canal D’Amour, the Corfu coastline, and the Albanian mountains from the sky! A tandem paraglide allows you to share the experience with a friend.

Q: Do you have to know how to swim in order to parasail?
A:

Although it is best for you to be comfortable in the water, you do not have to know how to swim. Each guest is provided with a buoyancy compensator (BC) that will assist with flotation.

Q: Is there an age requirement for parasailing?
A:

Yes, the minimum age to parasail is 6 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their liability waiver prior to boarding the vessel. At Cool Destinations safety is our number one priority. The minimum weight required for parasailing is roughly 90 pounds. If the flyer is less than 90 pounds, they will simply fly tandem with someone not to exceed roughly 450 pounds combined weight. Weight requirements may differ due to wind conditions.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.

  • Cool Rewards is a loyalty program operated by Cool Destinations. Rewards may be earned by any eligible person holding a Cool Destinations account, subject to the Cool Destinations customer Terms of Use.

Earning rewards

  • Rewards can be earned by making bookings on the Cool Destinations website. You will be able to see the value of the rewards you can earn during the booking process.
  • Earned rewards will be issued in a pending state and will move to a confirmed state 24 hours after the start time of the experience.
  • Earned rewards will be available to redeem once they are no longer in a pending state.
  • For bookings that are moved to a different travel date, the rewards will be redeemable after the amended travel date.
  • If a booking where rewards were issued is canceled, the earned rewards will not be redeemable and will be moved to a canceled state.

Redeeming rewards

  • To redeem rewards, you must be logged into your Cool Destinations account.
  • Any available rewards will be automatically applied the next time you make a booking, and their value will be deducted from your order at checkout, unless you choose not to apply them, which requires you to indicate this via the toggle switch. Bookings made using rewards are subject to the standard Cool Destinations Customer Terms of Use.
  • You will not be able to redeem only a portion of your available rewards at checkout. It is only possible to redeem all or none of your available rewards.
  • There is no minimum order value required to redeem your rewards. This means that you can pay for 100% of your order with rewards.
  • Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
