Day 1 Upper Loop is filled with waterfalls, historic sites and wildlife.Our first day will conclude with a drive down the beautiful Chief Joseph Scenic Highway into Cody Wy.where you’ll have your first nights stay.
Day 2 Is an exciting day in Cody Wyoming’s Wild West starting at 8am for a fun morning Wild Mustang Tour or whitewater rafting and enjoy fun dinner at the Cody Cattle Company and Rodeo
Day 3 Begins at 7am for an exciting day of the Yellowstone Lower Loop the Volcano Tour &then off for your overnight stay in Jackson Hole.
Day 4 Begins at 7am with a morning Tetons and back in to West Yellowstone

Day 1: Yellowstone Upper Loop Historic Sites,Wildlife and Waterfalls for the first fun filled day!
Stop At: Mammoth Hot Springs, Grand Loop Road, Wyoming 82190 United States
Take a stroll back in time in the historic town of Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National park.Enjoy a picnic lunch while watching the resident elk heard wander the town.Stroll through gift shops and maybe even grab an ice cream while enjoying the views of the massive travertine terraces that will leave you in awe.

Stop At: Roosevelt Arch, Wyoming United States
Travel through this massive structure that was built in the early 1900s as the first entrance into the worlds most infamous volcano.Theodore Roosevelt laid the first corner stone into this doorway to Yellowstone National Park.The arch itself frames the beauty of the rolling hills and mountains perfectly behind it.This entrance has left kings,queens and millions from around the world in awe.

Stop At: Tower Fall, Wyoming United States
Tower Falls is surely a crowd pleaser.Take a stroll around this towering 132 foot waterfall with amazing rock formations.Look out for a variety of birds,coyotes,foxes,big horn sheep and even bears.

Stop At: Obsidian Cliff, Wyoming 82190 United States
This massive mineral deposit of obsidian spans over 5 square miles and was an important part of the lives of the indigenous people that once inhabited our lands.This deposit was created over 180,000 years ago by magma/rhyolitic rock rising up from the volcano below us and cooling at an extreme rate.Obsidian has been used for thousands of years for tools,weapons and jewelry.

Stop At: Lamar Valley, Wyoming United States
No trip to Yellowstone would ever be complete without a visit to the most popular wildlife viewing area.Millions of people a year take this road to try to catch a glimpse of the thousands of wildlife that maybe hanging out in this popular feeding and breeding ground.Not only will you see beautiful rivers,mountains,cliffs and more but….. you could see thousands of bison,fox,coyotes,wolves,Bears,bighorn sheep,mountain goats,moose,a wide variety of birds,etc.You never know what you might see or where you might see it so keep your eyes peeled.

Stop At: Chief Joseph Scenic Highway, Wyoming United States
Chief Joseph Scenic Highway is one of the most stunning mountain drives that you’ll find in the lower 48 states.People coming from all over the world to see this big sky,beautiful lakes,and amazing Mountain View’s.Watch for wildlife such as moose,bears and wolves and hear fascinating history of the Lewis and Clark Trail and Chief Joseph and the Nez Peres Tribe.

Stop At: Undine Falls, Grand Loop Rd, Wyoming 82190 United States
View this beautiful 60-80 foot massive cascading waterfall from a picturesque platform on Lava Creek.This lava bed was said to be formed over 700,000 years ago and has a wide variety of wildlife that call it home.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 2: A day in Wild West Cody Wyoming
Stop At: Wyoming United States
Go on an exciting wild mustang safari in Cody Wyoming.Enjoy a beautiful morning traveling around Wyomings beautiful McCullough Peaks and Badlands area while watching for a variety of wildlife.Hear fun history of Buffalo Bill Cody and the Wild,Wild West while your knowledgeable guide navigates you through this 123,000 acre area watching pronghorn antelope,foxes,coyotes,owls,sage grouse and even some wild mustangs.Although you are welcome to stay in the vehicle,we do recommend taking a short nature hike with us to see the various wildflowers,horny toads and scouting for horn sheds or arrowheads.

Take the remainder of this second day to explore this little historic town.Do a bit of shopping maybe visit the amazing Buffalo Bill Center of the West museum.If you’re on this tour from June 1st-August 31st I’d strongly recommend heading to the Cody Cattle Company for dinner and our Cody Night Rodeo.

Feel the power and the smell of the volcano that’s just beneath us in Yellowstone at this hot and very acidic geothermal feature.The Mud Volcano is a personal favorite of mine with the bubbling and splashing of the hot acidic mud churning up from the thermal vents below us.This is a treat!

Stop At: Grand Prismatic Spring, Midway Geyser Basin, Wyoming United States
I’ve heard this geothermal feature described in so many interesting ways over the last 27 years that I’ve been a guide.The “Rainbow Lake” was about spit on.This Spring is truly a phenomenon with its many rainbow like colors that are actually living organisms putting on a show.Learn more about these thermophiles(Heat loving bacteria) and the many scientific and medical uses for them and why they display such beautiful colors.No trip to Yellowstone would ever be complete without a stroll around this amazing boardwalk.

Stop At: Excelsior Geyser Crater, Wyoming 82190 United States
This amazing crater was once known as the “Excelsior Geyser” that many years ago had 46 hours straight of eruptions of over 300 feet wide and 300 feet tall.Today…. We haven’t been so luck to see such an eruption but they are still known to happen at irregular intervals from 50-300 feet high.This geothermal feature has one of the richest in Yellowstone and is definitely a crowd pleaser.

Stop At: Hayden Valley, Wyoming 82190 United States
Hayden Valley is known to be the next “Lamar Valley” housing 2 of the most popular wolf packs in Yellowstone National Park.This vast valley that was carved out by glaciers once receding in this area now provides ample water and food sources to a wide variety of wildlife species.Travel through this area stopping for views of thousands of bison,coyotes,trumpeter swans,pelicans,foxes,bears,and a variety of other wildlife species that may call this valley home.

See not just one but 4 different types of geothermal features in one amazing location.See fascinating paint pots and how they got this very cool name.There are geysers that just don’t stop and steam vents that sound like jet planes.Not to mention the amazing colors of the beautiful bacteria mats!

No trip to Yellowstone is ever complete without a trip to the most famous geyser in the world “Old Faithful”.Watch this fun old man erupt approximately every 90 minutes from 60-80 feet,from 2-10 minutes.It really doesn’t matter how long or how high this guy erupts.Old Faithful never disappoints.

While we wait for Old Faithful to put on a show we will enjoy a bit of fun in the original Old Faithful Inn.Built back in 1902 as the largest log cabin in the world,the jaw dropping design of this lodge is amazing.We will take you on a short tour of the Inn.You can do some souvenir shopping and maybe have a glass of wine while sitting in front of the amazing 80 foot tall hand quarried lava rock fire place.
They also have fantastic ice cream!
