My wife and I stayed a month in Italy and each week had 10 different guests at the villa. Every week each group attended Alina’s Slow Cooking school. Across the board all four groups expressed that it was one of the top experiences in Italy. It was a very hands on experience making plentiful and amazing dishes from scratch using organic ingredients. We shared the food along with wine in a beautiful classic Italian countryside setting under a vine covered pergola. Alina made it fun, educational and festive. In addition we had the opportunity to experience their olive oil production. A highly recommended experience.

Laura our host, trainer, expert chef was amazing! We learned the importance of each detail during the process of making several pasta dishes and tiramisu. Laura is a local, and we learned a lot if history, travel tips, and how to spend our short stay in the Umbria Region. Their quaint restaurant is beautiful, I will definitely recommend anyone visiting Perugia to plan dinner at their restaurant! Thank you Laura!!!

I had an amazing time with Claudia and learned so much. We used beautiful very local ingredients and she tailored the menu for me as a vegetarian. Claudia is so generous in the way she shares information and providing tastings of different ingredients - it was a great day. Cooking with Raffaella in Umbria was one of the best things we did in Italy. From the moment we arrived at the farmhouse outside Perugia, it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed into someone's home. Raffaella cooks with real love, and it shows in everything she teaches. We learned the little tricks that make Italian cooking what it is — how ingredients and techniques shift as you move from northern to southern Italy, details you'd never pick up from a cookbook. But the best part was the end of the class: sitting down in her garden to eat the meal we'd just made, drinking wine from her own farm. That's a moment you can't manufacture — it only happens when someone shares their real life with you, not just a recipe. This experience has all the small-town Italian charm you hope for and none of the tourist-trap feel. Highly recommend it to anyone considering it — you won't regret it.

We had a great time with four friends learning the art of making Fettuccine from scratch. We learned which ingredients matter and the technique for building the dough (which was very different from how I do it at home). Very good instructions and lots of patience to try. We all had a wonderful time and took home our food to cook in a few days after it cured. Wonderful finish across the street with some tastings.
