Just 5 minutes from the historic center of Spoleto, a local hostess opens the doors of her charming countryside home to share the real heart of Umbrian cuisine. This culinary experience gives you the chance to choose the class that best suits the season and your passion — and dive hands-on into one of Italy's most beloved food traditions.
Choose your experience: join the Pasta Class — available all year — or, if you are visiting in summer, book the Pizza Class
Whichever you choose, the experience follows the same warm, unhurried rhythm: your hostess guides sharing techniques and stories passed down through generations. At the end of the class, everyone gathers around the table to enjoy the fruits of their labor — a full convivial meal with a traditional second course, homemade dessert, and a glass of carefully selected regional wine.
More than a cooking lesson, this is an invitation to slow down, connect with the land, and take home a piece of authentic Italian life.

What To Expect
Your hostess will introduce you to the philosophy that runs through all Italian cooking — that great food is made with simple ingredients, time, and genuine love.
Pasta Class — available all year
You will mix and knead a fresh pasta dough from scratch using only flour and eggs, then learn to roll it to the perfect thickness. From the same dough, you will cut delicate tagliatelle by hand and shape and fill ravioli with a traditional Umbrian stuffing.
Pizza Class — summer only, weather permitting
Moving outdoors into a beautiful private garden, you will prepare the pizza, learning how to stretch it without tearing and build the perfect base. You will select and arrange your toppings, then slide your pizza into a crackling wood-fired oven — mastering the timing and heat management that separate good pizza from great pizza.
When the cooking is done, everyone gathers around the table to enjoy the meal together. You will taste what you made alongside a traditional second course and a homemade dessert, paired with a glass of carefully selected regional Umbrian wine.
