Absolutely fantastic day with Nikola. The tour hit the best spots and was both easy and very informative. The golf cart got us into all the right spots with ease and lunch was both authentic and great as well. If your looking at this tour, do not hesitate to book it.

A full day but every minute is well spent. Our tour guide Nicola was outstanding; tremendous knowledge of Rome’s history, culture and the stories behind the stories, with a great sense of humor that made the tour the perfect was to see as much of Rome as possible in one day. Could not recommend him more highly.

Wonderful tasting, which we were given by the owner of the SAIO winery herself. Of course, when the owners tell their story, every little thing makes sense, and every event is told with trepidation.We were told in detail the history of the winery, how and when production began, what is behind the name of each wine, and why the labels on the wines look like this. There were only two pairs of us at the tasting, so you could say a very private tasting we did.We tasted all five wines, served with a large plate of cheeses, a similarly large plate of chopped meats and local grilled meats, as well as a bread basket, a plate of lentil chowder, and cookies. Killing lunch!The wines are good, the tastes are interesting, the prices are pleasant. We took a bottle of red as a gift home.Highly recommended!

The attractions are wonderful. The guide was very professional and knowledge. We are very please with his services. The only thing we hope Cool Destinations can be improved is the scheduling of the pickup time. The Cool Destinations never told us the scheduled pickup time. The guide tried to contact us via phone call and text a couple days prior to the tour date. Since we were on board already, we did not see the VM and text message until the day before. When I tried to call, the only response I got was in Italian which I could NOT understand. The Cool Destinations confirmation info told me that they willl pick us us at the port and never tell us if it is a bus, van or private car. The previous experiences I had with Cool Destinations were using bus. Therefore we did not know that we need to contact anyone prior to arrange pickup time ourselves. Hope Cool Destinations can improve on the communication with their customers.

This was my first trip to Rome, and unlike other cities I’ve traveled to, I didn’t do much pre-planning or research. I was looking to book an all-day private tour to see as many sites as possible and I found Nicola’s tour company received very high reviews, as well as making all arrangements for purchasing tickets in advance, as well as including a private driver.Communication prior to the tour was extremely easy, and Nicola arrived ahead of time on the day of the tour. The driver- Andrea- was a perfect gentleman, opening and closing the van doors for me and escorting me out of the car, something rare these days. It also didn’t hurt that he was extremely handsome!Nicola took me to all the sites- the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums, and St. Peter’s Basilica. It was a packed day but I learned so much history- literally everywhere you turn there’s so much ancient history. Nicola was an amazing tour guide who I would instantly recommend to my friends and family.Rome was EXTREMELY HOT when I visited so having the air-conditioned van with a driver to negotiate the crazy traffic was a godsend!I felt extremely safe traveling as a single woman with Nicola and Andrea and would definitely request them for another tour the next time I come back to Rome!

Absolutely amazing. There’s no way we could’ve seen all that we did on our own. Driver Stefano and guide Patricia were awesome.

Nikolai and Andreas arrived at our hotel early and on time to pick us up. We did not have to wonder where they were. Also, we were picked up in a Mercedes van that was very neat and clean. What a nice vehicle to be taken around Rome for our tour! We were taken to several tourist attractions in one day which we would never had been able to accomplish on our own without Nikolai and his ability to navigate these landmarks. We saw the best parts of these attractions because Nikolai knew how to swiftly get us to these places. He personalized our tour to our requests. For instance, we were dropped off at the Vatican at our designated ticket time. We walked a major portion of the Vatican grounds and had our car pick us up at the exit. Very convenient. We would never have seen all 7 sites of our tour had we not booked this private tour. It was well worth the cost based on the time we had in Rome. We had the next day to ourselves and Nikolai provided several suggestions on what we could to on our own for that 2nd day.
