Top Tirana Architecture Tours

Outstanding tour with Stivi—the highlight of our visit to TiranaMy wife Angela and I spent almost three thoroughly enjoyable hours exploring Tirana with Stivi Xhako, and it was unquestionably one of the highlights of our time in Albania.Stivi is a charming, intelligent and engaging young Albanian who is clearly passionate about his city, his country and his work. He brought Tirana’s complicated history and remarkable transformation to life in a way that was informative, balanced and completely accessible. Nothing felt rehearsed or mechanical: he welcomed questions, gave thoughtful and honest answers and made the entire walk feel more like exploring the city with an extremely knowledgeable local friend. His warmth and good company were every bit as memorable as his knowledge. The three hours passed remarkably quickly, and we finished the tour with a much deeper understanding of Tirana and Albania than we could ever have gained by walking around alone.Stivi is exactly the kind of passionate young local guide whom visitors should support. We cannot recommend him highly enough. If you are visiting Tirana, make this tour one of the first things you do—and ask for Stivi.

We were lucky to be the only two people on Stivvi’s tour! We had a wonderful walk around Tirana, going well over the two and a half hours. Stivvi is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and obviously loves what he does. It was one of the best tours we have ever done. We felt like we had a new friend at the end of it :) 100% recommend, and we hope to be back for another of his guided walks.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of Tirana. We had a good time walking and learning about its history

Amelia, the guide, was exceptional. It’s a long day but so worth it. Prizren and its history are amazing and Pristine has a lot to see in a compact area. Amelia, communicated so well before during and after the trip. Her passion and enthusiasm for the culture and history was infectious. Absolutely great day.

Armela was a great guide, fountain of knowledge, friendly, helpful and great communication. The 2 stops were quite different from each other which was lovely to see, I appreciated the longer period in Prizren as it was such a lovely city, castle was closed but the views up the top are lovely, prishtina also very nice city, very different vibes. Great way to spend a day in Kosovo

Suela is a fabulous guide! She is extremely knowledgeable and explained Albania’s history and culture in a very informative and enjoyable way. This walking tour is a must do while in Tirana. Thank you Suela!

Our tour guide Genti was so great! He was very knowledgeable and passionate and made the whole trip very enjoyable, showing us around different spots and explaining the history of Albania. Would highly recommend ☺️

We had a fantastic private tour with the very knowledgable and engaging Dio taking us to Krujes and Durres. Highly recommended if you want to learn more about the history of Albania.

Our guide was JETMIR', he is a very pleasant informative guide and a careful driver. I definitely recommend this tour !! Art museum was unique !!

The city walk with Stivi taught us a lot about the history of Albania. The guide spoke very good English and knew a lot to tell and explain about the sights in the city. Definitely worth it!

If you are lucky enough to have Stivi for your guide, you will not be disappointed! Stivi is incredibly knowledgeable about Albanian history, culture and architecture while also being personable. He loves introducing visitors to Tirana and it shows. In addition to the major landmarks of the city, he pointed out many small details that we would have missed like the whimsical Do Not Enter street signs. Our group had only three of us, so it felt like a private tour for little more than the price of his tip. He also gave us restaurant tips and other useful information.Skip the big tours for this one instead. Two thumbs up for Stivi.

Armela was a fantastic tour guide who did everything right, she is very good at telling about Kosovo's history and she is very knowledgeable. The bus was comfortable, and Armela made sure everyone had a nice trip. The trip is highly recommended to everyone who wants to see the big places in Kosovo. Thanks for the trip!

We learned so much on this tour! Our guide Armela was so informative and factual and personally she made each and every person feel welcomed and included. She was funny, engaging and presented the history of the country/region in an understandable and captivating way. It was such a great balance between history and nature!
