Top Sofia Night Tours

We're so glad we booked this. Alex is a PhD historian and was a delight! Where he took us for dinner was an institution! Every visiting dignitary and celebrity have gone there for the ambiance (top of the mountain sensational views), historical significance, delicious cuisine AND.. if that isn't enough... The folklore show which includes fire walkers!! Indoor and outdoor seating. Only comment is... Started at 7pm - Alex picked us up at our hotel in an immaculate Mercedes - we thought this would be a tour group but how special.. just us! We went on an 1 1/2 walking tour ( still light out ) then got to restaurant at 8:45 pm. We got back to the hotel 10:30. We didn't know it was a walking tour and didn't wear appropriate shoes and didn't bring water. More on us than Alex!! Highly recommend this experience. The performance was expect dancers, musicians and everyone gets to join the "conga" line!

Lots of fun. Quick tour to see sights lit up at night in a warm car was great. Group was small and guides were very friendly. Restaurant was in the outskirts so nice to see that part of the city. Dinner was yummy and kitschy fun. Teens enjoyed it a lot.

Driver very punctual and friendly and also helpful. Will use this service again and highly recommended for all tourists.

Great way to start our trip! Guide was super friendly and answered all our questions. She gave us good ideas of locations to check out on our own. Dinner location was amazing. Loved the entertainment. Guide did a good job explaining the food. Chicken was a bit bland but rest was delicious.

Guide was very informative, stoped for us to take pictures, enjoyable evening with the folk dancing and fire walking.

We had a private tour with Nicolai! He was a great guide, easy to speak with about a variety of topics. He picked us up at our Airbnb, showed us the sights of Sofia and then took us to a beautiful Bulgarian restaurant near the Vitosha mountain. The food and show were fantastic! Definitely recommend for a special night in Sofia.

Pick up for our hotel, driver took us to sights around Sofia, which we were able to to get out with out fabulous guide Deni ( we were on her afternoon delight tour earlier in the week, which i recommend.) Her knowledge and enthusiasm was great. We were lucky it was just the 3 of us , so it felt like a private tour.. Deni was funny, understood our humor, and made the whole experience more enjoyable. After eh sight seeing , we were taken to the Meal and Folklore part of the evening. The meal was fantastic, and the venue up in the mountains was a delight. We saw traditional dancing and another show, which I wont tell you about as don't want to spoil the surprise.

Peter was very knowledgeable and spent the time explaining all the points of interest. He was very friendly and accommodating!

We enjoyed the knowledge of our guide. We were taken to 3 locations and while we had been to each of those throughout our visit we learned more. The folklore dinner was very good! The music and dancing were very nice! The fire walking was the icing on the cake! We couldn’t believe our eyes!

Pete was an excellent guide and an incredible historian. He was very personable. I felt like it was a night out with an old friend. The topper was dinner with folklore dancing and the liocals spontaneously got up and danced also

This was a great tour! We ended up being the only ones who had booked that evening, so it pretty much became a private tour of Sofia! The tour guide (Denitsa) gave us a lot of insights into the history of Bulgaria. The dinner at the end was really good! But you must call in advance and confirm dietary restrictions as the food is prepared by the time you arrive. The performance is for the whole restaurant, and they involve the guests so be prepared to shake a leg! Will definitely recommend!

A great tour - details a little vague on Cool Destinations but I contacted the agent who was able to clarify. Great guides whose name I cannot recall. Lovely to see the city at night with some information and then the restaurant / folklore evening was very enjoyable. Plenty of local food!

My husband and I enjoyed our night tour of Sofia, followed by a dinner and folklore show. Seeing Sofia at night was great and added a different dimension to our trip. Our guide named Katrin Valkova was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant.

We were picked up at the hotel by Denitsa, who was very knowledgeable about the city. She provided us with information about the history of Bulgaria. We had the opportunity to visit historical places and learned about the evolution of the government throughout the centuries. Finally, we drove to the mountains were we had a delicious Bulgarian dinner and enjoy the music and dances of their people. It was a magnificent evening. Highly recommend.
