Very much enjoyed this food and history tour. Peter is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Sofia and local food and culture. There are five food stops that also include adult beverages if you desire. Also included is a transit day pass that we were able to use after the tour. All of the food was delicious and we learned a lot about the history of Sofia and Bulgaria. An added bonus is learning how to use the public transit system, which made our stay so much more enjoyable. We had great conversations with Peter and the other guests. This is truly a memorable experience.

What an experience! Turns out I was the only one signed up for this tour and luckily Peter didn't cancel on me! We ended up doing a totally custom tour and it was so much fun! The food was great, we were able to go to a food event in the city with locals, went to a cocktail bar, tried raki and rode different trams around while Peter explained much about the city, it's history, etc. It was a really awesome day!

Found this company while helping plan a stag do for a friend and they couldn't have been more helpful, with planning what I asked for, to giving different options to add to our trip we were in constant communication and always kept updated. There was a situation where we weren't allowed in to one place and they sorted getting the refund back well after our trip had finished to make sure that we weren't out of pocket. The easiest 5/5 I've given.

We thought Peter did a fantastic job of finding one of a kind food establishments in different neighborhoods, that served traditional delicious food. For instance... An alley cafe was our last stop and the owners mother made the charcuterie meats and the perfect ( don't know the name) phyllo dough round with pumpkin and cinnamon. Perfect! Unique establishments highlighting small business owners creating an eating experience!

We did the pub crawl on a Sunday with Emilyan and it was a really cool experience! We met some people and had a lot of fun, the bars were nice

The Pub Crawl was a lot of fun. The guide was very funny and managed to get the whole group to interact. The pubs and clubs visited were really unique and not easy to find!

When we booked this we were a little sceptical but to our surprise it was the best thing we’ve done while being in Sofia!We would highly recommend this tour to anyone that would like to visit some hidden gems that you would not find on your own.Without giving away too much we can say you will be amazed.We booked the tour for a friday night. It was quite easy to find our lovely tourguide Joana as she was holding up a Pubcrawl sign right on the spot that was described on our ticket.After a quick introduction we went to our first bar where the group received a welcome shot.Joana gave us some nice history info about the bar and after that we could spend some time there with the group getting to know eachother.As the tour continued Maxma took over from Joana guiding us to more bars.Again these bars you will probably not find on your own.The day after we went back to one of the bars and met Maxma again with a new group.All and all an amazing experience!Special thanks to Joana, Maxma and the magic crew!Keep up the good work!

I really enjoyed this tour. I learned so much about Bulgarian history and culture, while enjoying some great beers!!! I would highly recommend this tour to any beer lover who would also like to get to know Bulgaria and/or Plovdiv specifically. Walking wasn't strenuous and this is coming from someone with two torn knees but it is a walking tour so wear comfortable shoes. My tour guide was so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I am most definitely going to book this tour again when I come back to the area. P.S. When trying a beer from Pelta Brewing, I recommend Donkey Hot a triple fruited gose. Very tasty and refreshing. Donkey Hot has a cute cartoon label. Also Donkey Hot is a play on words of hot ass, not sure why that went over my head at the time. Probably because I was a few beers in :)

Highly recommended tour when in Sofia. Main focus is on history of Sofia and Plovdiv. I got an excellent overview of Bulgaria from pre historic times to today. The tour of the different parts of Plovdiv was very comprehensive. In addition to history, a great stop at one of the best breweries in Bulgaria, including a personal tour and tasting. If looking for a fun way to see Plovdiv, this was perfect!! Mato specifically was fantastic, answered all my questions from modern day pop culture to ancient day Thracia.
