I had an incredible tour with Paola. 11/10, book with her/Tomatl immediately! I will definitely be taking this same tour again next time I’m in Mazatlán.Paola took us to several fantastic taco spots I never would have discovered on my own. As a professional chef, she has a great passion for food, and she taught me so much throughout the day. Beyond the culinary experience, she shared fascinating insights into the history and local culture of the city. I walked away with so much new information and loved every minute of it. Highly recommended!"

Great food! 4 totally different kinds of taco places, each with with Paola’s historical explanation and authenticity of the food. We had shrimp, beef, pork and chicken. Each looked different and were delicious. I, personally, only eat chicken and fish, but I did have a taste of the other two—couldn’t miss the experience. We finished the tour with a mezcal and tequila tasting at a really classy and historical bar. Paola is a wonderful guide. She does cooking classes as well. We plan to book one of those next time.

He was a great driver and very knowledgeable of the area and information known to locals. I had a great time.

Best tour I've been on! Carlos our tour guide was very knowledgeable and added that personal touch!I would do it again!

Paola’s taco tour was a family favorite!! This tour is not only a taco tour but Paola knowledge of the area and its history is fantastic. Recommend Paolo’s taco tour 10/10

I'm sure the rest of our family will agree that the taco mezcal tour was a wonderful experience. We learned much about the area and the salty feet people of Mazatlan. The food was delicious and we learned the art of drinking mezcal. I would highly recommend this tour. We found our way back to one of the taco bars as we just couldn't get enough. Five stars

We had an amazing experience with Paola,She went out of her way to make her experience, unique, and tailored to specific needs. Her passion comes through on the tour as everything is well explain and make the experience all that much more enjoyable. She’s knowledgable about her City therefore you get a good understanding of where you’re at and what you can see and do next. Her English is amazing. Therefore there’s nothing you can ask that she won’t understand. We went to four different eateries and had four very unique but equally excellent choices.

We had an amazing time with Paola showing us parts of Mazatlan that were a little less touristy. The tacos were so delicious and it was great to hear the food history as we ate. This was some of the best food we had on our week in Mazatlan and we plan to book another experience with Paola when we go back!

ALL. THE. TACOS. After doing a cooking class w/Paola 2 years ago, we opted for this deep dive into tacos! We had 4 very different styles at her fave spots then washed everything down with a mescal tasting. Learned LOTS & even got a ride back to our resort. Until next time, Paola!

The tacos were the best I've ever tasted. We went to 4 places and experienced each restaurant's speciality. Evening concluded with Mezcal tasting. Paola is very knowledgeable in Mazatlan culture and history. Speaks perfect English..

AMAZING TOUR! Paola is wonderful and very knowledgeable! We ate and drank well. Paola took us to her favourite Taco places and she was able to give us the history of the places. We had so much fun and ate the best tacos ever! Paola is a very passionate tour guide! Highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed

Paula was great! She is knowledgeable about the history and culture of the tacos of Mexico and willing to share recommendations for others things to do in the area. The stops we made were great and the tacos amazing and all so different.

Paola is a VERY knowledgeable Mazatlan native. We had tacos in 5 long established fabulous places around town and ended at a mezcal bar. Everything was delicious and the variety was astonishing.

Wonderful to visit various street taco venues as well as restaurants that the locals enjoy so much. Now we understand the appeal! Very educational, not to mention delicuous! Paula was absolutely perfect, very well informed and eager and proud to share her love of Mexican food with us. Hightly recommend this tour.

Paola hosted our group of 6 on her Taco, Beer, and Mezcal tour when we were in Mazatlán on a family trip. Our group included ages from 6-76, and Paola put on a great tour for all ages. We loved learning about the different types of Mazatlán tacos, especially what the local specialties are and what times of day we can find each taco offered. I had no idea that seafood tacos were for breakfast! My dad has been coming to Mazatlán for many years, and he really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot too. Paola is such a wonderful guide and a warm person, and we felt so lucky to spend an evening with her. She also was able to keep the interest of a 6 and an 8 year old, and order dishes she thought they would enjoy. We now feel prepared to know what to order when we go to a taco stand, and know a few more places that are great to eat in Mazatlán. I would recommend this tour both to those who are on vacation, as well as snowbirds who have been coming to Mazatlán for many years. We hope to do another tour with Tomatl soon!

The taco tour was such fun and so educational. Paola is very knowledgeable, friendly, and shares the secrets of the culinary world of Mazatlan. Very personable, she is an expert and entertaining guide to the local cuisine. Highly recommend it!
