TWO friends and I organized a private group tour with Arsim the owner of Balkan Destination, who actually escorted us as driver and tour guide on or 38day Balkans Tour. We visited Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania, Corfu (Greek island) and Montenegro. What a fabulous trip, visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites, churches Orthodox and RC, mosques, waterfalls. Limestone caves, lakes, Ionian and Adriatic seas, fortresses, walled cities, markets, wineries and many other fabulous places. We also had free time to explore old town centres, forts, etc. Accommodation and Breakfasts and some Lunches and dinners were always a good variety. Would I recommend Balkan Destination, absolutely. Thanks Arsim for such a well organized and amazing tour, you really looked after our small private group of 3 and 5 in Montenegro. Much appreciated.

Earlier this month, I did the 7 day tour of Kosovo with Choose Balkans and I honestly could not have been more pleased. Let me begin with when I first contacted Choose Balkans. Beginning in March when I first reached out about the tour until June 11 when I returned to the United States, my main point of contact, Sirma, was super responsive. Sirma (1) promptly answered any and all questions that I had; (2) clearly communicated to me who my tour guide would be and where/when they would meet me; (3) periodically checked-in with me during the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly; and (4) followed up with me after the trip to make sure it met my expectations. I honestly cannot say enough kind things about Sirma and how simple and easy she made the entire process and how her responsiveness prevented any feelings of concern from ever surfacing.With respect to the tour itself, my tour guide Arber was absolutely fantastic. As a local, he was able to answer all my questions about the various locations we visited, the people, the culture and the country. His passion for Kosovo was readily apparent in all our interactions. I would specifically recommend him as a guide to my friends and family because I have no doubt they would have the same top notch experience that I did with him.All of the accommodations that were selected for me were perfect. Comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms, good breakfasts, and responsive staff at the front desk.The sites that we visited as part of the 7 day tour pretty much ticked every box I think I could ask for. We had the opportunity to see beautiful churches/monasteries and mosques. There were many opportunities to see and experience the gorgeous outdoors. I had many chances to glimpse Kosovo's past (both distant and more recent) through the museums and other cultural attractions we visited. Overall it was an immersive experience that left me with a better understanding of the country, its people, and its history.As an Albanian American I had certain expectations going into this trip as to what I would see, taste, hear, and experience. I left feeling prouder than I could ever imagine of my cultural heritage and that is because of the tour that Sirma put together for me and that Arber took me on.To Choose Balkans, Sirma, and Arber, from the bottom of my heart, faleminderit. I look forward to coming back to the Western Balkans, and using you again.

It was my first time to Kosovo and this tour is the perfect start if you are looking to see some of the country's top spots. I would definitely recommend this tour.

MTI Travels met my expectations and beyond which made this 2 day tour worthwhile. Every detail was carved out to my interest. The food was spectacular.. and they introduced me to the delicacies of the region like the Koran fish which can be bought only in this region. Bledar Shapplo personally takes his clients to these places so expect quality treatment.

I just finished this tour and it was fantastic. My guide Devis was exceptional, we did some climbing in one part of the tour and I could not have done it without his help. The country is very safe and the people very welcoming. The tour is a very good balance between visiting great scenery, historical cities,Churches and Mosques, learning about the history of Kosovo and the Balkans. Accommodations and food were very good. The roads were excellent and we had great weather in September. I highly recommended it.
