Private tour is the way to go! My husband and I traveled to Cancun with our 3 children ages 14, 12, and 10. I couldnt find a package that picked up from the hotel zone, so I contacted the operator directly on WhatsApp and Rubén was super responsive and created a tour for my family the same day I requested it.Our tour guide, Hugo, picked us up from our hotel within 1.5 hours, and drove us to Tulum, Cobá, and an underground cenote. During the drive, Hugo pointed out some areas along the way, sharing his knowledge of the different amusement parks, and answered our questions about what to do and see. As we approached each ruin, he provided a history of the Mayans from that time period.On the sites, he handled all the admission requirements, and explained each structure with such enthusiasm.! All of us, kids included, enjoyed the thorough history lessons. After the ruins, we went to an underground cave cenote, with limestone icicles, and had a refreshing swim.We ended the day for a bite to eat in Tulum, instead of a Mayan restaurant, since we started our tour late in the day.We are so grateful for Hugo for showing us these ancient parts of Mexico and making our trip memorable for us all. We saw monkeys, crocodiles, the biggest spider I've ever seen, walked and biked through a jungle, swam in a cenote, and enjoyed a fantastic meal!This tour is definitely worth the cost, and I can't wait to return to Mexico for another tour with the same company. Had lunch with Carlos and his family at their home; his adorable children were a very special part of our day. Hugo our guide was remarkable. Three generations of family, and he connected with each of us. Hugo even held my grandchildren’s attention throughout the day with his excellent narrative.We had visited Tulum and Coba before. But never like this. Hugo brought the history to life and was able to answer our multitude of questions. The authentic Mayan lunch was delicious and the Mayan family served it with love and a genuine pride of their heritage.We finished off our day with swims in the Cenote’s. The grandchildren loved the wildlife in the caves. By the end our grandson had counted over 175 Iguana sightings.Hugo went above and beyond our expectations. He was even willing to take us to additional opportunities to swim, but our grandchildren had had a full day. Thank you, Hugo for a memorable set of experiences. We hope we can do another adventure with you when we return.

This was a fabulous tour! It was such a great combination of experiences - some Mayan ruins and culture, animal interactions, great food for lunch, adventure with the ziplining and canoeing….we couldn’t possibly ask for more! Oscar was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had (and I’ve done MANY tours from years of Mexican vacations). He was professional, knowledgeable, funny, courteous, helpful, and personable. He did everything he could to make my kiddo feel comfortable throughout the day. When I told him I had an appointment at the resort in the evening, he took special care to make sure we were able do everything and still made it back on time. Before the tour, the company was very good with communication and sent our tour guide name and a picture of the car picking us up so we felt safe. We were beyond pleased and I recommend this company / tour 1000%!! Thank you!!

Saúl as a terrific guide, from pre-trip communication and planning through the day's activities. There was a separate driver for the van. Saúl was a very knowledgeable guide at the Coba archaeological site. He taught us how to say hello and thank you in the local Mayan language. He took us to a house/restaurant in a small village where we learned to make tortillas before eating a delicious lunch. We saw spider monkeys. And he showed us the brave way to jump from a high ledge into a cenote! A great day!

Luis and Saul were THE BEST! We had a great day with the guys enjoying the sites at Coba, local restaurant, and the Mayan community where we had great adventures rappelling into the cenote, zip lining and canoeing! It was our own private tour, so laid back and full of fun adventures at the same time. The guys were easy to chat with and we will definitely do another adventure with them in the future!

Our private tour was amazing! We are a family of four with two boys, ages 10 and 13. Hisa picked us up on time and was so knowledgeable. We went to the Coba ruins and chose to ride bicycles to see the sights. Our guide is a historian so went well above and beyond other tours. It was fascinating! We swam in a cenote that we had all to ourselves. We had a fantastic lunch cooked by a Mayan family that all of us devoured. Then we saw both howler and spider monkeys in a reserve. Truly a day we will remember forever!

We had an amazing day with Ulisse. He was punctual for our pick up and we immediately got know each other during the first leg of our tour. Ulisse is very knowledgeable not only of the locations where he took us but also about the Mayan culture as well as all the other miso-American civilisations. It was great to learn about topics that are not discussed in mainstream history books, and it was an honour to learn from such an knowledgeable guide.We did Tulum, Coba (our favourite), the cenote and finished with a delicious meal at a local Mayan family. We really appreciated the time and energy Ulisse put into the day to make sure we had an unforgettable time. At not point we felt rushed or like we didn't get enough from each location.I would reccomend this tour and Ulisse to every one who is thinking to pick this combo. Believe me you won't be disappointed

The excursion to the jungle to meet a Mayan community and do activities such as zip lines, canoes and monkey watching was the best thing about our trip to Mexico. We complete our day with a visit to the archaeological area of Coba and a bath in a beautiful cenote. Everything was also magnificent explained by our guide Uri and Ruben was attentive to all our needs.

The finest private we could ever get, easily passing excellence. This is a small business, not some tour where you are just a ticket calling 1-800 numbers. Saul and Luis were in control, always looking for ways to make your time with them better. And clearly they care about the local communities. Easy contact before to vary a couple of details. Very friendly and funny. As for this particular trip - Coba is great to see - real sense of history and does not feel like the big toursit Chichen Itza site. Perfect alternative and without the crowds and groups of 20 all over the place. You get to see a large site that is barely developed so you can see how the city was, but also how the jungle has taken over (need to rent bike or pay for a bike guy to drive you - or you can walk about a mile). Then the jungle part was fun with the short canoe and zip lines. But, the HIGHLIGT of the trip was repelling into this beautiful Cenote, again with no crowds. (Actually, we were the only ones there - but I doubt it is ever crowed.) You drop in by rope through a hole in the roof (scary to look at it, easy enough to drop in). Then take your time floating in a tube - magical. One of the most spectacular things we have even seen. Note, doing these tours privately lets you do this at whatever pace you want. Drive was comfortable and if you want to do it, then it is unavoidable 2 hour drive from Cancun, as all the sites are. Lunch was good and authentic.

Saul was an amazing tour guide for our group of 12 friends. He is very knowledgeable and knows the history of the area. He took us to Coba and seemed to know everyone around. Our group explored the area by bicycle, bicycle limo, and walking. Our group asked many questions and Saul always seemed to know the answer. The tour van was newer, reliable, and had great air conditioning. Saul was sociable and fun. He took us to a great place for lunch where we had authentic Coba cuisine. We felt very safe with Saul and I recommend any tour with him. I will scheduling again with him the next time we come back to Cancun!!

This was an amazing day! We are a family of four with boys age 13 and 10. We rode bikes to ruins, swam in an cenote we had all to ourselves, and saw howler and spider monkeys. Every part of this tour was exceptional, highly recommend!

One of the best tours we’ve ever done – and we travel a lot!We did the “Private Tour: Coba-Ruinen, Punta Laguna, Klammeraffen-Cenote, Maya-Dorf” with Oscar and had an amazing day. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and great with our young son.Perfect mix of history, nature, and fun – Coba ruins, an adventurous Punta Laguna, a beautiful cenote, plus ziplining and kayaking. Lunch in a small Mayan village was also a really special experience.Highly recommend this tour and especially Oscar!

I cannot recommend the trip highly enough. We had Hisael as our guide and he was so enthusiastic about everything on the tour and so knowledgable. He was friendly and super accommodating. He tailored lots of the information to our areas of interest and made sure we were comfortable the whole way through. Lunch was delicious and the views were beautiful. We were able to see both spider monkeys and howler monkeys which were a big reason we booked the tour.

We just had the most perfect day with Oscar. Oscar is an amazing tourguide and we will definitely recommend him. He knows so much an made everything so interesting
