I love street art, and Margaux was a fantastic guide for the murals and galleries throughout Oaxaca. She was interesting and engaging, and I really enjoyed the relaxing day learning about the Oaxaca art scene, creating my own piece of art, and learning about cacao. I would definitely recommend booking her.

Sam was a fantastic guide. Not only did he know about chocolate and the cuisine of the region, he had a great deal of knowledge about the history and culture of Mexico. Sam was friendly, professional and we tried food in places that were not “tourist traps”. We got a very local feel for San Miguel. We highly recommend Sam!

We had such an incredible experience on the Frida Kahlo tour the day before that we asked Gabriela to book us a same-day tour for Lucha Libre and street food — and she didn’t disappoint! Despite the short notice, she found us tickets, organized everything seamlessly, and gave us another unforgettable experience. The Lucha Libre show was a blast and we learned so much about its history and culture. The street food tour afterward was equally fun, with amazing bites and great stories along the way. Can’t recommend Gabriela or Frida Tours enough — they made our whole trip!

Our guide Gabriela made the night.She led us through an incredible local food spot, and steering us toward delicious local dishes. Then at the lucha libre, she explained the traditions and masks so we actually understood what we were watching. Patient, warm, and clearly loves sharing her city and culture.Ask for Gabriela if you want a guide who’s knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend Friday Tours for an authentic taste of CDMX in one night.

An absolutely exceptional chocolate experience in the heart of Mexico City at Chima Cacao. Everything about this workshop was superb, from the beautifully curated setting to the depth of knowledge and warmth of our host, Ruth. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and engaging, and more than happy to answer every question we had throughout the experience.We loved learning about the fascinating history of cacao, discovering the different varieties and preparation methods, and having the opportunity to smell and compare different cacao varieties. The hands-on experience of preparing traditional hot cacao beverages was a particular highlight, as was tasting the wonderful range of chocolate variations.The setting itself was stunning—elegant, intimate, sophisticated, and beautifully presented, creating a wonderfully luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. To finish, we were treated to a delicious dessert, which was the perfect ending to an already memorable experience.This was so much more than a chocolate tasting—it was an immersive, educational, hands-on journey into the world of cacao. Ruth made the entire experience feel personal and special, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City. Thank you Ruth and Gustavo! Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico!

We had an amazing day with Felix from Oaxaca Conmigo Tours visiting local businesses and markets to sample Oaxacan cuisine, experience local life, and see how their Zapotecan rugs are produced from start to finish. Each stop on this tour was carefully chosen to avoid tourist traps and connect with the local community. We even had a hands-on lesson in roasting cacao and grinding it for mole in the kitchen of a local family. We ate SO much and learned even more. I would give this tour 10 stars if I could!

Felipe was an outstanding guide! He was personable, knowledgeable, flexible, and truly went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable.We weren’t sure what to expect, but all four of us were pleasantly surprised. Our adventure included visiting beautiful monuments, tasting tequila, chocolate, and honey, sampling delicious tacos, watching an incredible fire dance, enjoying even more amazing tacos, and cooling off with a visit to a local cenote.What made the experience even more special was that Felipe customized our private tour around our interests. He also took photos throughout the day and shared them with us at no extra cost, giving us wonderful memories to take home.If you’re visiting Cozumel, I can’t recommend Felipe enough. We’ll definitely be requesting him again the next time we’re there!Don’t forget to tip your guides well, it’s how they make a living!!!!
