We would recommend any tour with this company as we did most. They are highly organised so much fun and the food was of excellent quality! They should get an award for excellence in tourism. Wonderful people of the Outback! Thank you for the best holiday and one we would recommend to all.

This is a very relaxing evening and night tour. All the staff were great, the food was really good as outback Tucker should be, the bush poetry and yarns were fabulous and the sunset was outstanding.

A very enjoyable day with informative and entertaining commentary from Joe and Mick. Opportunity to sit in the "drivers" seat and have a yarn. Leisurely stroll around historical Ilfracombe and then a fabulous burger, a drink and a game to raise $ for the RFDS at the Welshot Pub. Yes, you could drive it and do it cheaper, but youd miss out on the clickety clack of the rail and the natural air con! Do it!

BEST EXCELLENT MORNING ENTERTAINMENT Jeremy was one of the best tourist Operators his commentary was informative and funny, all the Visitors loved him. He kept the information flowing and Banjoy his trusty companion. Was right along side cheering him on. Marino Sheep are very interesting and the ride on the double decker bus around the station was terrific.

Absolutely fantastic day. I would thoroughly recommend it. The coach picked us up at Saltbush Retreat on time, it was very comfortable. The experience at the station was great, especially the little sheepdog. Saw lots of wild camels etc. If you are in Longreach, please do this.

We had a fantastic trip up to the Darr River by train. Joe and David were both so friendly, pleasant and informative, making the day even more enjoyable.Halfway through the journey, David stopped the train and we all got out for a talk in the bush. Joe explained all about the different trees, sharing his knowledge of what they could be used for and teaching us so much about the local area.After our talk in the bush, we all got back on the train and continued the rest of the journey up to the Darr River, where we were met by a lovely lady who had prepared a beautiful morning tea of homemade jam drops, damper and hot billy tea. It was such a lovely treat!Joe then showed us how to crack a whip, which was great fun, and David finished the day by singing a lovely tune under the coolabah tree.It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end, with great company, fascinating stories, delicious food and lots of memorable moments. A truly fantastic day that we won’t forget! 🌿🚂☕️❤️

Had a great train ride out to the Wellshot hotel for a look at the mile of machinery, lunch at the hotel and watched people trying to pin money on the ceiling for the flying doctors charity. Such a cool fun place to go. People had turns at sitting with the driver and learning about train driving. A great experience for train lovers.

From booking our tour to completion was an excellent experience. The receptionist was extremely knowledgeable Cassie made sure we would be able to join in all parts of the tour (I have some health and dietary issues.) the operators made sure I didn’t miss out. The boat cruise was very informative and the first mate did an outstanding job with questions being answered and changed hats to be an excellent steward. The campfire meal and entertainment was first class can see why the tea towel stew recipe sells out have ordered mine in line. Would encourage anyone stopping in Longreach to book this tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a fantastic experience at Cobb & Co! These guys really know how to do everything just right from start to finish. We started the day with delicious scones, jam and tea, which was a lovely way to settle in. Then a gentleman came in and told us a great yarn, bringing the history to life and getting us excited for what was to come.We then headed outside where we learnt all about the horses and how everything worked before setting off on our ride. It was such a wonderful experience being around the horses and getting a little taste of what it would have been like back in the days of Cobb & Co.When we returned, they took the time to explain the carts, bridles and all the equipment, answering questions and sharing plenty of interesting information along the way. We were then treated to freshly made lemonade — such a thoughtful touch!To finish the experience, we were taken inside to watch a movie, which was the perfect way to wrap up the day.You can really tell that the people at Cobb & Co care about what they do. Every part of the experience was thoughtfully put together, the staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, and there was always something interesting to learn.It wasn’t just a ride — it was a full experience that took us back in time. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend Cobb & Co to anyone looking for something unique, educational and genuinely enjoyable.

MY Husband and I drove from Brisbane to Longreach, We met over 30 ladies from as far away as Melbourne who had flown to Brisbane then Went by Train to Longreach for a 5 day stay at 3and 4 star accomodation The Coach INN or The Stables. Entertainment and a beautiful shop for your souvieners. I totally recommend Outback Pioneers after all they where there when we fist started going to Longreach in 2011.
