This was a great excursion. It was beautiful sandbar. There were plenty of pool noodles etc… to use. We especially loved that Andrew floated around in a kayak refilling drinks and handing out snacks. I would highly recommend!!

My husband and I came down to celebrate our birthdays and did the mangrove kayak tour. Heather was our tour guide and she was phenomenal! Very knowledgeable and made the experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something active to do.

I forgot the day we were going so we missed our sailing. Just going to say that this company went above and beyond and squeezed us in 2 days later. We went with Logan, Abby and Nic and they were wonderful! Not sure how Logan did it but we left the dock with light rain and dark clouds, yet he found us sun and light blue water over the most beautiful sandbar I’ve ever seen! We had plenty to eat, the best “special” mimosas and so much fun. The price was worth everything the trip offered. If you are thinking of going, do it! Even my husband who dislikes beaches enjoyed himself.

Fantastic experience on the Marathon Mermaid. This was our second trip with them. We did the Islamorada location previously and this time we did the Marathon location. First Mate O’Rien is the GOAT! The captain was excellent as well and kept everyone safe and well informed. Shout out to Lisa on the reservation line as well. She followed up in a timely manner and was easy to work with. Great customer service! We also lucked out with perfect weather conditions. Thank you Marathon Mermaid for a super day on the water with our family.

We booked 3 cruises with Marathon Mermaid, one of the few awesome independent operators. Angel, the owner, and Lisa here assistant make sure everything goes smoothly. We did the Sandbar, The Snorkle and sand bar and the Sandbar excursions. All excellent trips with over 2.5hrs in site ate each location. Great prices and great locations. Great values from one of the last Owner Operators. Angla rocks. Here Staff, Deck hand Orion (a real star) and his Captain Kinsey were tops. Kisnsey had over 10000 passenger hours and over 1500 solo hours and his safety briefing rocked. We really felt safe. Once we were there Kinsey, performed over watch to ensure we did not get lost or get hurt. In-spite of challenging current conditions we parked with ease and had a great safe time.- We would have booked 4 a fourth cruise if it had not been for the weather

Jodi was a terrific guide and so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot an about the mangroves and the creatures that lived there.We used the SUPs which were fun and as easy to use as kayaks. We sat on them most of the time.The tour included round-trip transportation from our Key West hotel. Such a great value!

The tour operator (Amy) picked us up at our hotel, even though it wasn't one actually listed and drove us out to the place where we'd be kayaking from. She was very attentive and helpful, had water for us and sunscreen! Our kayak guide was Chris, a marine biology major and SO knowledgable and passionate about the area! Also super intuitive about when we may need a break or just slow down. The area was gorgeous and even though we really didn't see a ton of marine life it was a relaxing and really enjoyable day!
