We had such a brilliant experience with Blu Boat Rentals and would highly recommend them.From the very beginning, their communication was excellent. Before our original booking they sent us all the information we needed, including directions, parking details, and even helped when I asked where we could stop for supplies. Unfortunately, on the morning of our first booking the weather was too bad to go out, but they handled it so professionally. They called us early, explained the situation clearly, put safety first, and immediately sent us links so we could rebook with no stress at all.When we arrived for our rebooked trip, my partner was unwell, so it was just me and the children. I had never driven a boat before and I was really nervous. At first, taking in all the information felt a little daunting, but Yannis was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly patient and thorough, explained everything clearly, and really put me at ease. He even came out into the harbour with me first so I could practise and make sure I felt confident before we returned to the dock, he got off, and we headed out on our own.We had also arrived about 45 minutes early hoping to get some breakfast and coffee, but there was nowhere open near the pier. Yannis recommended somewhere that could deliver, gave me the phone number and helped me order. It arrived before we left for our trip. It might seem like a small thing, but it was another example of the team going that little bit further to help us.Another really useful touch was that the boat came with a cool box and ice pack, which was perfect for keeping our packed lunches and drinks fresh throughout the day. It made the whole experience even easier and meant we could just relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about food going warm.When we returned, Alex was there to help me dock the boat, which I really appreciated, and he also arranged a taxi for us afterwards.The price was fantastic too. On previous holidays we’ve paid more per person for organised group boat trips lasting around three hours than we paid to have our own boat for the whole day. Having the freedom to spend the day at our own pace, stop where we wanted and enjoy it just as a family made it such good value for money. I would definitely choose this over a crowded group boat trip again.Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional, patient and incredibly helpful. They really went above and beyond, and what I initially thought might be quite a daunting experience ended up being one of the highlights of our holiday. I felt safe and looked after, but we also had the freedom to enjoy an amazing day out on the water together.Thank you so much to Yannis, Alex and the whole Blu Boat Rentals team.
