Very great experience. Very Nice ride.

Avoid sandals and any kind of open shoes, take sunscreen with you, don't need to take water or anything like snacks.

A charming and beautiful, easy ride for any level (including novice) with happy horses & caring guides. The scenery is spectacular. When you are traveling, sometimes you need to reset your nervous system. Getting on a horse on a beautiful island & riding to the beach does that and so much more. Like a moving meditation. We loved it!

Had a BLAST from start to finish. All the instructors were Great! The horses were Beautiful and so smart! And the scenery along the beach was so relaxing and breath taking!

We really enjoyed the morning with the horses, we were a group of 8 people only. It was a great experience and both Mario and Yannis were very nice and fun to be with. I highly recommend this activity especially to those who like the horses. Bonus Mario takes very beautiful pictures, we loved them.

Our group had a wonderful time horseback riding! Nico was an excellent instructor and cares exceptionally for his horses. He is jovial and our group made wonderful memories. The horses are quite tame, and we didn’t have trouble controlling them under Nico’s direction. Paschalítsa (ladybug) is a beautiful white horse who I felt safe and comfortable riding. We rode the horses along the sea, and were a fun spectacle to the tourists at the beachfront cafes. The length of the trek is long enough to grow our confidence with the horses, and short enough so we don’t feel sore from the saddle. The stables are in a rural area and quite primitive.

We came for the horseback riding, but it was the people, the laughter, and the animals that made the day unforgettable. It was one of those special days that stays in your heart long after your vacation is over. From the moment George picked us up at our hotel, we knew we were going to have a wonderful day. Along the way, he stopped to feed a group of stray cats, something he does several times a day simply because he cares about them. That small act told us so much about the kind of people we were about to spend the day with. George is also absolutely hysterical! He had us laughing throughout the entire car ride and made us feel completely at ease from the moment we met him. When we arrived at the farm, we were welcomed so warmly. There is such a genuine family feeling to the whole experience, and it is obvious how deeply they love and care for their horses and all the animals around them. Irene’s passion for animal welfare shines through in everything she does. She knows each horse’s personality and takes such care to make sure every rider feels comfortable, confident, and safe, regardless of their experience level. The ride through the Cretan mountains was absolutely beautiful and gave us a completely different way to experience the island. But as beautiful as the scenery was, it was the people who made the day truly unforgettable. Their kindness, warmth, and wonderful sense of humor made us feel less like tourists and more like friends being welcomed into their home. After the ride, we all sat together and enjoyed a delicious homemade Cretan lunch. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful day—relaxed, personal, and wonderfully authentic, like spending the afternoon with a Greek family. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and so much affection for George, Irene, and all their animals. If you love horses, beautiful scenery, delicious food, lots of laughter, and genuinely kindhearted people, please do not miss this experience! Unforgettable experience. The horses are magnificently cared for … Yanni and his family love what they do and you are made to feel special. Swimming with these majestic animals is something I’ll never forget.

It was fun and a good experience for someone who wants to ride a horse. Time was taken to explain how to sit and balance, how to turn and stop.

What a wonderful experience. Picked up at our hotel, so cheerful was Vanessa and Alex. Took us on a historical tour while we were driving to the horse ranch. Learned so much. At the ranch tried homemade wine and then did an hour ride. The horse were well behaved. Ride thru the winery and the rocks. Plenty of time at the beach for pictures. Once returning to the ranch we left for lunch and more wine tasting. We had a four course lunch with different wines for each course. The food was delicious especially the tomato fritters. We toured the winery and then left for home. Again the ride home was great with information about the landscape. Was a lot more than expected. A trip not to miss.

Unforgettable Experience!We booked this through Get Your Guide.We booked the 9am slot before it got warmer. We were picked up from our hotel, which was nice and easy for us! We were greeted by the lovely family when we arrived and were given all the kit. They provided a little bag to take for photos, which was lovely.Me and my partner haven’t been on a horse in years but the team made us feel so comfortable and instructed us what to do! We rode up to the beach and back down again.The instructors were so lovely and made us both feel so comfortable and we was taking in all the beautiful views.We got back and we was given 2 drinks whilst we waited for the taxi, it was delicious!I couldn’t recommend this experience enough and we’ll certainly be back next year when we come back to Greece. If you’re thinking about it, you will not regret it!Thank you to the team x

English versionThis is a must-do experience when visiting Santorini. It was my first time riding a horse, but the guide was extremely experienced and handled everything with confidence, so I felt safe from the very beginning.The route includes some uphill and downhill paths, which made the ride even more exciting and gave it a real sense of adventure. Seeing the beautiful blue sea of Santorini from the back of a horse, especially from higher ground, was absolutely breathtaking.We chose the one-hour ride, and it was truly a full hour of enjoying both the horse riding and the stunning scenery — no rushing at all. Toward the end, I honestly felt like a cowboy, standing like a hero on the mountain overlooking the island.I’ve traveled to many countries and tried many optional tours, but this experience was easily worth more than the price. It was one of the most memorable activities I’ve ever done.The staff were all wonderful — kind, professional, and attentive. Special thanks to Zsanett and Nikos for their incredibly kind and thoughtful support.One small note: unlike some photos, we did not ride along a sandy beach by the sea.
