We had a tour with Julio and Byron through Tripmasters. These two gentleman were top-notch and a delight. They were personable, knowledgable, and found the craziest hidden wildlife along the tour. This is a nice hike through the rain forest. I was nervous about the bridges as I am afraid of heights, but once we got to the first bridge it wasn't bad at all. The views take over and you forget you are suspended high above the forest. Julio also did a great job at calming my nerves. The views were stunning and the wildlife we saw was so cool! I liked that we happened to be there in low season and didn't have to compete with large groups of people.

The guided tour was phenomenal! Chris was so kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. He spotted so many animals we never would have noticed on our own and even took great pictures for us along the way. It rained for the first hour, but it was still completely worth it. Having a guide made such a difference, and we’re so glad we did it!

We lived our tour!! Saw lots of cool animals we got to see! It was beautiful and a lot of fun even in the rain!

Put this on your list when visiting La Fortuna and definitely go with a guide. Edgar was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the ecosystem of the tropical rain forest. He smelled the howler monkeys before he spotted them. At one point he heard a group of spider monkeys and we quickly ran to them snd were able to see them. On our tour we saw Howler monkeys, spider monkeys, a boa, a poisonous frog, an owl and heard a nightingale wren. On our own, we would have missed almost all of this. The hanging bridges were spectacular and impressive. The walk alone was worth it. Getting to see these animals in their natural habitat was a special treat!

What a wonderful experience! We were lucky to see two kinds of monkeys one being a whole family with a baby ! Go early ! Bring a rain jacket ! The views are amazing! We had a tour guide she made stops along the way to spot animals and different types of snakes. Also got to see a pair of owls, toucans and a sloth ! Very lucky! Very cool crossing the bridges

We had a great tour with Robert F. His knowledge was incredible!!! We are here in the rainy season but the tour was still such a great adventure for our family. The tour was a moderate walk up and down the trail and over several bridges.

We had an excellent tour guide Jose Raul, so def request him when you go as he not only shared wildlife photos from his camera but also had patience with our group and was such a fun personality. We noticed on our excursion many other tour guides rushing their groups or being mean to their patrons while we had the complete opposite experience that made us really feel like we enjoyed the park to the full extent. He even at the end gave tips on the other nearby attractions to check out.

Jaco was an excellent tour guide ! He was so friendly and passionate about the park ! He showed us a lot of things we would have never have seen . He used our phones to take pics and also shared with us the beautiful photos he took on his phone !! I highly recommend this tour !

Roberto Rivera was a fantastic guide. A trained biologist with a strong knowledge of entomology. During the tour we saw multiple vipers, birds, and monkeys, he truly had an eagle eye! The knowledge Roberto provided about all of the different species put the tour over the top!

Jose Raul was the best guide I had in Costa Rica. He found so many 'invisible' animals. He was funny, knowledgeable and cared about the environment and the customers. He took his own good photos with his telescope then shared them for free for us. He carefully picked up two tiny pieces of paper that had fallen on the trail.I did the 7am tour in the rainy season. It stayed dry most of the time. Our guide people can wait an hour to get on each bridge in dry season. However, as you can see from the photos, we had the bridges pretty much to ourselves, just a few other groups going around.I took multiple 'animal-spotting' tours in Costa Rica and this was the best combination of animals and tour guide.Tip - If not included in your excursion, use Uber for transportation but use the Mistico Hanging Bridges reception's wifi to book an Uber when you finish. I ended up using a friendly Uber driver to take me to several locations that day but he made it into one long trip on the app so it added up the waiting times between. I ended up with a surprise bill of £140 !

We had a fun tour with our guide! He tried very hard to tell us a lot about nature and its animals.

My family and I had a great time! Norbin, our guide, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and spotted wildlife we wouldn’t have seen if it wasn’t for him. I highly recommend this guided tour.

Edgar was an extremely knowledgeable and passionate guide. In the 2,5 hours with him, we learned a lot about the ecosystem in tropical rain forests and saw >10 different animals. Edgar was able to capture all of those with his telescope and sent us the breathtaking photos afterwards.

Very nice nature walk, and you definitely want the tour guide so that you can see a lot of the animals. Our tour guide did a great job so we saw tiny "blue jeans frogs," sloths, spiders, humming birds, and even armadillos. A very nice way to spend part of a day!

We had such an amazing experience at Mistico Hanging Bridges, and a huge part of that was our guide, Nazareth!Our family of five joined another family and an individual for the 2.5-hour guided tour, and Nazareth was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly patient and engaging with the children, even creating a fun little game where they earned points for spotting cool things and making it across the bridges. It kept them excited, involved, and looking forward to what they would discover next!Nazareth also helped us spot multiple animals that we absolutely would have missed if we had explored on our own. She shared so many interesting facts and information about the wildlife and rainforest, and we all learned a lot along the way.It was such a fun, educational, and memorable experience for our whole family. If you’re visiting Mistico, definitely take the guided tour—it’s 100% worth it! And if you can, ask for Nazareth. She was wonderful!
