This was the best nature tour we went on! Our guide was awesome and we saw SO MANY THINGS. Highly recommend

We did the full-day excursion, our guide was Yara, very kind and very knowledgeable, she gave us good explanations in the volcano area and went out of her way to look for animals so we could observe them in the hanging bridges area. They took us to eat at Casa Luna, a highly recommended place with delicious food. Punctual and with a good vehicle, we recommend 100%.

We loved this tour. Our guide Albert was so well educated and taught us so much along the tour. I really wanted to hear everything he had to say. Alberto the driver was a great driver. Sometime tour drivers are super aggressive drivers and gives me a little anxiety. I had no worries with Alberto. He also pulled over when the volcano appeared so we could get pictures as it had been in the clouds for days. It rained A LOT during our tour, but we still enjoyed it!

This was an excellent night tour. In smaller groups we saw lots of amazing animals and Michael was an outstanding guide. Really cared about the animals and got us some amazing photos. Highly recommended!

Saw many amazing birds! All three types of monkeys and so much more wildlife! It was the most wonderful day we have had in Costa Rica. Our guide was so knowledgeable! Knew every bird and animal and so much about them. Our captain had the eagle eye!! Enjoyed every minute! Got wonderful pictures!

We opted for the Arenal Hike with dinner and a trip to Paradise Hot Springs. The hike was great despite it being a bit misty out. The guide was very intelligent and knew a lot of the history of the region. She was also very personable and fun to chat with. The viewpoint offers some great views of the Arenal volcano and Lake Arenal. The hot springs was a great treat after the hike. Very laid back and relaxing.

It was amazingly good company to travel, the lady who led me through the volcano (her name is Katis) is very good at her job

The experience is really nice, it totally worths the walking and the early awakening. The people that guide you through the experiences is really nice, warm and always try to make anyone in the group part of it. I really liked the food, it was tasty and not spicy, for those that are not into hot flavors. I really recommend this tour, for solo travelers (like me) or for complete families.

This was one of the best days! Val was our guide and she was AMAZING! We visited during rainy season and so we prepared for the rain and planned on making it the best day regardless of weather. While it did rain some in the morning, it cleared up and had the best time. Bring a rain coat or poncho! Each location has a nice bathroom. We started the day on volcano hike and learned all about the volcano. Then we ventured to the waterfall, both driver Alberto & Val were always trying to find birds or animals on the drive for us to see. We stopped before the waterfall and saw a beautiful hawk & toucan. The waterfall was beautiful but due to all the ran, it was too rough therefore we couldn't get in for a swim. We did prepare with water shoes. We brought a small water resistant back pack. I would highly recommend this but put your passports in plastic bag or protest them! We did not and ours did get a little damp. We brought a change of clothes in case we did swim, we wore our swim suits under hiking clothes. Lots of steps down to the waterfall and back up. We had a group for the first two excursions and then the family left as they did not book the full day. It was just myself and my wife for the rest of the day. Val took us to lunch, it was THE BEST lunch at Casa Luna! The food was soooo good. The weather cleared up, we really enjoyed this time. Then we all ventured off to the Hanging bridges. Again Val stopped because the Volcano cleared for the best pics and she also spotted a sloth! Hiked all through the rainforest, saw many more animals, monkeys...etc. We brought natural bug spray but didn't need it, however be prepared just in case. The hanging bridges were fun too! Highly recommend this tour when visiting La Fortuna . We cannot wait to visit again!

Andres was very knowledgeable about many types of plants and animals we saw during the tour. We were able to see a tarantula, leopard frogs, birds, glass frogs, blue morph butterfly, spiders, and many stick bugs. The walk has uphill parts so walking shoes is a must but was relatively easy. Bring a waterproof jacket or poncho just in case is rains. Definitely recommend this night tour while visiting Monteverde

Heiner was an amazing tour guide!! My friends & I can’t say enough good things about him. He took photos for us! We got to see a toucan, howler monkey, sloths, frogs & so much more!!!

A very varied tour ! We have seen many animals up close in their natural environment. Birds, capuchin monkeys, caiman, turtles, etc. The boatmaster responded to the wishes of his guests and he always had an eye for where the animals were. A tour with high experience value- Highly recommended !

Excellent Caño Negro boat tour — easily the best daytime wildlife experience I’ve had in Costa Rica so far. Caño Negro itself is an absolute must, with an incredible amount of life everywhere you look.Our guide Daevid was friendly, knowledgeable, and fantastic at spotting wildlife. On the drive in, we saw macaws and toucans. Once on the river, he pointed out basilisk lizards, kingfishers, caimans, herons, iguanas, howler monkeys, and white-faced monkeys. He always stopped the boat so everyone had time to see and take photos, and he was very talkative and happy to share tips on where else to see wildlife.The boat driver, Mango, was also excellent — great eyes for spotting animals and very skilled at positioning the boat perfectly for photos. The group size was just right and never felt crowded or rushed.The pickup was slightly late, but communication was good, and it didn’t affect the day at all. Lunch was tasty and a nice change from the usual casado — a rice-based dish with chicken or vegetable options.It’s about a 2-hour drive each way from La Fortuna, but absolutely worth it. I’d 100% recommend this tour and would happily do it again.

Our walk was great, and so much depends on the guide. Ours was stunningly well-informed and a great communicator, so we learned loads on the short and clear but steepish path up to volcano lookout point overlooking the 1968 lava flow. And then on the longer but gentler descent we were helped to spot a huge variety of birds, small animals and a couple of monkeys in the distance. Really impressive to spot and identify wildlife so quickly and accurately, be able to point it out (& take quality close-up photos via his spotter scope). An eye-opening introduction to Costa Rican forest wildlife: thank you much:)

The excursion to the volcano is very interesting. We couldn't see the entire volcano because it frequently has cloudy peaks. The climb, although not very long, is hard
