Overall great day! Fernando did a great job communicating the tour itinerary and plan for the day, as well as providing us with cultural and historical facts about Costa Rica. Fernando coordinated dropping my group off for our zip line adventure while the remaining participants did something else. The soak at the hot springs was the perfect way to end the day! We had heavy rain for ~2 hours while we were driving, but it cleared up so our afternoon activities were dry.

We had a tour with Julio and Byron through Tripmasters. These two gentleman were top-notch and a delight. They were personable, knowledgable, and found the craziest hidden wildlife along the tour. This is a nice hike through the rain forest. I was nervous about the bridges as I am afraid of heights, but once we got to the first bridge it wasn't bad at all. The views take over and you forget you are suspended high above the forest. Julio also did a great job at calming my nerves. The views were stunning and the wildlife we saw was so cool! I liked that we happened to be there in low season and didn't have to compete with large groups of people.

Alex is the best guide you could ask for! He is very attentive, sweet, caring, and funny. We enjoyed many stops to check out waterfalls, iguanas, birds, and some sloths. I recommend this tour to everyone! Thank you Alex for such a special day filled with smiles and laughs!

Alex is a very friendly and good-humored guide. He was approachable and always seemed excited to answer questions and help each guest make the most of their experience.

The guided tour was phenomenal! Chris was so kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. He spotted so many animals we never would have noticed on our own and even took great pictures for us along the way. It rained for the first hour, but it was still completely worth it. Having a guide made such a difference, and we’re so glad we did it!

It has been a long day, but full of adventure and knowledge. Our guide, Ovi, has shared all his wisdom about the wildlife of Costa Rica with us. He has been very attentive and pleasant. We went to a coffee plantation and he told us about the coffee process in Costa Rica. Likewise, we ate wonderfully at a place with great views of the Arenal volcano. We also did zip lining and rappelling, and finally the hot springs. Ovi was a great, great, great guide; we would repeat without a doubt. It is clear that he knows a lot about Costa Rica and its nature.

Ronald was so knowledgeable and provided a great tour! We went with our kids, ages 11 and 14, and everyone was able to do the hike. It was mostly an easy path but it did get steeper towards the top. It was totally worth it to be able to hike on the lava rocks and see the view from the top of the climb!Our guide had a lot to share about the eruption in 1968 and everything that was around us as well as being very patient with everyone on the tour (it was a group of 7 in total). We enjoyed the walking sticks that were provided at the start of the hike (they were especially helpful for the trip down) and the pineapple at the end. We did get a little rain at the top and on the way down, but it felt good after the climb!I would definitely recommend this trip, especially if you’re looking for a short hike and an opportunity to get onto part of the volcano.

The hike was guided by Gilbert and his companion Christian as the transportation driver. The activity was conducted on time and perfectly in every way: they picked us up at the hotel as agreed, and after picking up the rest of the clients, we went hiking on a circular trail of a solidified lava flow from the Arenal volcano in the 1970s. The route is beautiful, full of plants where Gilbert explains everything in detail and with love for his work. I would rate the difficulty of the trail as medium-low, but if you do not have good physical condition, you could still do it but with more caution than the others. It is worth immersing yourself among tropical plants that create a microclimate on the slopes of the volcano, with small animals and birds hidden among the treetops, including hummingbirds! It is a very beautiful trail that ends at a café on top of a hill where I recommend having a specialty coffee espresso, where the waiter who served us was very kind to us... In summary, Jacamar has shown us enormous kindness and professionalism, and after the tour, Christian was waiting for us with a freshly cut pineapple that was delicious, as a nice gesture, and then they took us to the contracted "Paradise Hot Springs" just after the hike. At the end, another companion from Jacamar picked us up at the agreed time to take us back to our hotel... A wonderful day with intense activity in the morning and extreme relaxation at noon that I recommend you add to your trip without a doubt 🙌

Definitely an experience even though the volcano was wrapped in fog when we reached the top point. Delicious hiking in well-hilled terrain and wildlife. Good informative guides with each their competencies. Delicious right to round with the hot springs to the end.

Everything was very good; on top of that, we had a sunny day, very lucky. Jason led the tour; he was a great guide.

Great road trip and guide! Alex explained so much and added in lots of insight to the local areas.

We lived our tour!! Saw lots of cool animals we got to see! It was beautiful and a lot of fun even in the rain!

Put this on your list when visiting La Fortuna and definitely go with a guide. Edgar was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and passionate about the ecosystem of the tropical rain forest. He smelled the howler monkeys before he spotted them. At one point he heard a group of spider monkeys and we quickly ran to them snd were able to see them. On our tour we saw Howler monkeys, spider monkeys, a boa, a poisonous frog, an owl and heard a nightingale wren. On our own, we would have missed almost all of this. The hanging bridges were spectacular and impressive. The walk alone was worth it. Getting to see these animals in their natural habitat was a special treat!

Incredible experience! It is well worth the price because it includes incredible activities and very delicious meals!! Obi has been the best guide!!!!

We went to the hot springs, Arenal volcano, and La Paz waterfalls. FERNANDO our guide and driver very kind, very clear explanations, excellent driver. Without a doubt, a quite pleasant experience.
