Amazing day trip..
After being let down by another tour the day before when the pick up bus didn’t turn up and we were subsequently told it had been cancelled , I booked this trip last minute and the instructions were immediately clear for pick up. There were 5 of us on this trip plus our guide Alex who was simply amazing. So knowledgeable, friendly with a great sense of humour. We also had a great group of people and whilst we did not see any Brown Bears the mountains were stunning. I would definitely do this trip again to see the Brown Bears.

Bear with us !!!
Bear with me whilst I write this !! Well what an experience from start to finish. The drive up was spectacular, the scenery breathtaking & didn’t disappoint. Unfortunately we didn’t see any bears 😩 but we did see 2 donkeys ,1 fox , numerous sheep & lots of dogs 🐕 . The views at the very top of the mountain was worth the long drive.Alex our guide was outstanding in his knowledge & more important his sense of humour was brilliant. He kept us entertained & informed from start to finish.Would highly recommend this trip & especially Alex as your guide.Five stars just for the entertainment.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome Experience in Transylvania with Custom Trip Through Rolandia
Just finished a delightful trip in Romania arranged by the great folks at Rolandia. Our experience was outstanding end-to-end. We received sound advice, a thoughtful, custom itinerary, comfortable and well-located hotels, and a truly wonderful driver/guide (Laurentiu). The itinerary was perfect for my wife and I: one more site would have been too much, yet we would not have cut anything we saw. I suspect we will be going back to Romania and we would definitely use Rolandia and ask for Laurentiu. BTW, I got no compensation or consideration for writing this review!

Top trip
It was a fantastic day. Pick up in Bucharest, then off to the mountains. We had a short comfort break to grab some breakfast and coffee then we went along the Top Gear road up to the lake. Unfortunately it was foggy, but the food in the tent was amazing. On the way up and down we saw 6 bears. A photostop and pause at the dam before heading back. 12 hour trip and worth every penny.

No salty tears at the salt mines
I really enjoyed visiting the salt mine. Perhaps what could have been missing was the option to have a guided tour, but to be honest I don't think it would be needed for this. Worth the money.

Amazing Sights, friendly guide
This is a long day but an incredible one to 2 awe inspiring sites. Pedro picked us up on time from our hotel and was very friendly and easy to talk to. His English is excellent. The first stop was the Salt Mines and we had never seen anything like it. It is magnificent. We then had a good lunch with Pedro suggesting local foods we may enjoy, and we did. The Muddy Volcanoes were a naturally occurring phenomenon and very much how you imagine the surface of the moon would be like. Pedro make a video of the site for me using my phone as I’m not great with technology. We had a wonderful day. Thank you.
