This was a relaxed and excellent pace of touring 2 old, yet lots of unique character, and historic cities of Viscri and Sighisoara. Our guide and driver Alex catered the tour to our liking. He was kind, patient, and unhurried as we carefully took on the many steps/stairs and cobblestones walk during this tour. We enjoyed our free time and delicious lunch with our guide, Alex. We can recommend this tour.

I contacted Tour Operator directly and I and my friend we went to see Poenari Fortress from Brasov. Florin, who was our Tour Guide was very professional and always ready to help regarding our trip and options available. Very good english and excellent approach. What an awesome day. Adrian was an excellent guide, so knowledgeable in Romanian history. The day was so interesting as we learnt the history of each castle we visited. The 3 castles were all so different but all were well worth visiting. The restaurant that Adrian took us to for our lunch was fantastic. The food was lovely and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you Adrian for making the day so memorable.

Wonderful Experiences with a Knowledgeable Guide
My group of three did a slight customization of this tour and it was absolutely incredible! Liberty was a beautiful experience where we saw and learned about the bears; Bran Castle (while crowded) was a fun adventure; and Prejmer had a fascinating history with beautiful architecture. Ramona was a fantastic guide and she made sure to communicate with us so we would know what to expect (including buying tickets for Liberty ahead of time) and helped to customize this tour with a visit to Prejmer Fortified Church instead of Poiana to make the best of our experience. Would highly recommend Day Trips Brasov and if we come back, we will definitely book with them again!!

Adrian is the best guide! He knows so much about his country and its history, and he genuinely enjoys sharing that knowledge with his clients. On other tours earlier that week, we had only received bits and pieces of information, but Adrian was able to fill in the gaps and paint a very clear picture of Romanian history. You can tell he truly loves what he does and takes the time and effort to connect with his clients individually. The day-long adventure never felt long or boring. We enjoyed lively conversation as we drove to Corvin Castle and later wandered around the town of Sibiu. I cannot recommend Adrian highly enough as a guide for your trip to Romania, and I especially recommend visiting Corvin Castle. It was a unique experience, and one my husband and I won’t soon forget.

Adrian- my goodness, what a fantastic tour guide!! He knows literally everything about Romanian history and really makes it come alive. We left the tour with a wealth of knowledge and new appreciation for this beautiful country. The tour was brilliant, we saw amazing scenery, beautiful churches and learned so much (and saw a bear!!).
