Our Glasgow city walking tour was excellent. Scott was an outstanding guide—extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He shared fascinating stories about the city’s symbols and history, details we never would have discovered on our own. We also really appreciated learning more about Glasgow’s beautiful architecture. The pace of the tour was perfect, and we were able to see and cover a lot of the city without feeling rushed. The company was wonderful to work with as well. They arranged transportation from the port to the city and back, which made everything very easy and stress-free. Having direct contact with the driver was especially helpful. They also recommended Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum for the afternoon, which was a great suggestion. Overall, a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to explore Glasgow. Highly recommend.

Wonderful immersive experience that gave great insight into the life and poetry of Seamus Heaney with a knowledgeable and amiable guide who knew the poet personally. My highest recommendation to anyone who loves poetry and wants to find out more about Nobel Prize winner Seamus Heaney. Five stars.

This was our second private tour with Fergal — our first was through the Glens of Antrim in 2023 — and we booked it mainly to spend another day with this wonderful, knowledgeable, hospitable man whom we consider a friend.The Magical Mourne Mountains tour did not disappoint, and we had a wonderful day! Fergal arrived at our hotel to collect us, and off we went in his super comfy luxury car. Our first stop was Hillsborough Castle & Gardens, which was a gorgeous estate, and the residence of the Royal Family in NI. After our castle tour we stopped at Sundrum Castle, and then for lunch at a castle hotel and enjoyed the breathtaking scenery. One of our favorite stops was at Silent Valley Reservoir — just stunning and so peaceful! Fergal arranged to have us shuttled up to the top so we wouldn’t have to make the long walk, which was very much appreciated.We were moved as we visited St. Patrick’s grave site in Downpatrick, and we enjoyed a quick pint before boarding the ferry across Strangford Lough. I can’t even begin to list all the things we did and saw during our day with Mr. Kearney because it took us to a state of just being present in the moment with each twist and turn of the road.We’d highly recommend ANY tour with Fergal and In-Site Tours! The man is a wealth of information, and within minutes of meeting him you feel as if you’re catching up with an old friend. My husband and I travel to Ireland frequently and have been in all 32 counties, but we’ll keep going back to NI just to see our new friend Fergal.

Mr. Fergal was a larger than life man. Throughout the trip, he told me so many personal stories of the land we explored, I wish I had written them all down! He's intelligent, hilarious, and very humble, despite all the great things he's done in the tourism industry for Ireland. I truly felt entwined into the land during my seven hour trip, and I wish there could have been a day tour #2. It was that good! At some points, I got emotional viewing the sights, and him telling me about the history of the sights. I learned so much about Seamus Heaney and his homeland from Fergal. Without him, my trip to Ireland wouldn't have been nearly as remarkable. Thank you Fergal!

Having arrived in Belfast on Saturday afternoon after a 30+ hour journey from Australia, we were seeking a top-quality introduction to Belfast and its history together with the right level of entertainment.We struck it lucky with Marti. The history of Belfast is complex and Marti was terrific in taking us through the significant milestones in Belfast history before we set off walking around the city. We would have NEVER (ever) noticed or seen the endless landmarks or points of history which he explained to us, linking the stories together.Marti is a passionate lover of history, Ireland and of course Belfast and I con confidently confirm that he single-handedly helped us piece together a framework of knowledge which was both so interesting and informative.Marti’s Tours are most definitely unique🙏

Wonderful walking tour through Belfast. Corey our guide was outstanding, very personable and flexible with what we wanted to see. Gave us a lot of the history of Belfast and Northern Ireland. Having read the book Say Nothing and seeing the 9 episode series, we had some knowledge of The Troubles. His personal stories just added to our experience. He also gave us the history of some pubs and recommended some. Overall a wonderful 3 hour, well worth it.

Our tour guide, Marty, was extremely knowledgeable all things Belfast. He gave us a history lesson at the beginning to lay the groundwork for the remainder of the tour. We walked all over Belfast and he knew facts about so many of the establishments, the buildings, the best food fare, drinks. Oh and people recognized him and the friendly greetings between them was sweet. I very much recommend this tour and I planning to do his other tours upon returning to Belfast. Oh we did go have a Belfast coffee upon his recc and it did not disappoint 🍀🍀🍀
