We had a wonderful tour with our guide Ivaylo! He was incredibly knowledgeable and well prepared, and you can really tell how passionate he is about his country. I especially appreciated how honest he was: he talked openly about both the positive and negative sides of Bulgaria, which made the tour truly authentic. We saw a lot of the city, but the tour never felt boring or tiring, it was enjoyable from beginning to end. We learned so much while having a genuinely great time. A fantastic experience overall. Highly recommended!

One of the most beautiful places in southwest Bulgaria. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the setting feels like something straight out of a fairy tale. The food is truly Michelin-level, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience even more special. Our experience at Villa MonteVino was unforgettable, and I can recommend it highly. Be sure to book your table in advance, especially at weekends, as it's a very popular destination.

We were picked up right from our hotel and taken straight to our first stop, Boyana Church, where our guide clearly explained everything from what to expect to how the tickets work.On the way to Rila Monastery, our guide took us to a total hidden gem: incredible restaurant by the river with fresh fish on the menu (easily the best meal of our trip!).I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

If you are looking for a tour of Sofia then look no further we can't recommend the tour and especially our guide, Pavlina enough.We were picked up at our hotel and walked for 3 hours around Sofia (you dont walk great distances) enjoying the key sights which included the St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, St. Sofia Church, St. Nikolas Russian Church, City Garden, Ivan Vazov Theatre along with several others.Pavlina, our guide, was excellent - so knowledgable but also shared many personal experiences of her life growing up in Sofia which really gave us an incredible insight into the culture and challenges that those living in the City have faced over the previous 40 - 50 years so a massive thank you to her.The tour was definitely the highlight of our weekend and we learnt so much and we felt was great value.
