Great way to experience Uluru and other sites with a well organized tour company. There is something incredibly special about coming together with people from all over the world to share in experiencing these special natural places in the heart of Australia. There was a good mix of activities and down time, the meals were decent and tents with beds comfortable to sleep in. Ultimately, what truly made the experience great was our guide Tye who was beyond exceptional! He did such a great job at explaining everything and sharing his wealth of knowledge about the natural sites, indigenous culture, native plants and wildlife. I learned so much by visiting these places, it was truly inspiring. Kudos to Tye and the team for creating such a positive experience for everyone. I would absolutely highly recommend!

A really great way to experience Uluru and the surrounding area! The hikes were amazing, and Hannah was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable :) Sunrise and sunset at Uluru were magical, and sleeping under the stars in the swag was very memorable!

This hike around the base of Uluru starts early so as to avoid the heat of the day later. Alex was friendly, informative, and organized. He had lots of information about the cultural significance of Uluru and traditional stories from the aboriginal group originally living there. Breakfast is rudimentary but the whole experience makes for a great excursion !

Excellent bfast stop around 7.15. Yes, there are toilets upon arrival at the walks ( and on bus if urgent). If you are doing the Rim walk, you sign an indemnity form on the bus that you do have three litres of water with you… and this is checked upon arrival. The alternative creek walk is very nice ( a couple of walkers on the Rim walk did struggle and needed the guides assistance, holding up the group and bus schedule a little bit). When you’ve finished your walks, Kings canyon resort has a very good hotel for food and drinks. On the way back to Yulara, there’s a quick roadside toilet stop and another stop at an impressive cattle station for toilet and snacks. Lovely guides and bus driver. AAT: please update your phone charging ports to suit the newer phones. Coaches are comfortable with plenty of room for backpacks etc…

It is well worth it! AAT has great guides and drivers and they are knowledgeable and fun. The tour at Uluru was great and the BBQ and star talk was great. Although we did have cloud cover! We aren’t big coach tour people at all, but this was well worth the day to spend at uluru!

It's a tough walk
It was a tough walk. The landscape was breathtaking. Being given the option to try the rim walk was great. If after the first 200 (out of 500) steps you want to turn back you can. I chose to stay. It wasn't an easy walk. Made much harder by being told you have to carry 3lts of water. I probably drank 1.5 liters. The breakfast was fantastic! Much better than I expected. The guides and driver were really great. Great tour! If you are fit and healthy, I highly recommend it.

The trip exceeded our expectations from start to finish! Extremely well organised, the walks were timed perfectly so we arrived for sunrise/ sunsets without any other groups at all!The input from our guide, Adam, was exceptional. Not only did he provide us with very informative cultural insights, he was a very proactive guide - doing the driving, helping set up camp and a very substantial portion of the cooking! We had some fantastic wildlife encounters on the way, again with incredible levels of knowledge from Adam when this happened.A trip we’ll never forget, would not hesitate to recommend, thanks so much Adam!!

Great way to see Alice Springs with very friendly, informative and knowledgeable guide, Bluey. All admission fees included. Particularly enjoyed the visit to the RFDS and the School of Air. Coffee, tea and biscuits at the Ooraminna Station Homestead then seeing the film set from The Drover’s Boy was interesting.
