I, together with three friends, had the most wonderful experience exploring the Australian Outback, made even more memorable by our fantastic guide, Owen. Despite his self-declared inexperience, Owen handled everything like a seasoned veteran, taking excellent care of all 15 members of the group and ensuring our comfort throughout the journey. The Red Centre is truly an experience not to be missed. I had imagined it to be barren and featureless, but I could not have been more wrong. We were amazed by the spectacular rock formations of Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon, as well as the unique vegetation and landscapes along the way. Even the four- to five-hour drives between destinations were exhilarating. The ever-changing scenery and fascinating geology made the journey itself part of the experience. A wonderful trip, made even better by a great group of fellow travellers and an exceptional guide. Highly recommended!

Good tour. Great seeing Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Kings Canyon hike was good too. Swag camping recommended since more memorable and looked better than the fixed tents. Swags are warm in winter. Food very good. Great to hear a lot about Aboriginal stories about Uluru etc.

Unforgettable experience in the Red Centre!

Really fantastic 3 night small group trip, with Tash as our absolutely brilliant guide. She was so knowledgeable and professional and really went out her way to make sure we all had a great trip, and learnt about indigenous culture. Thanks for everything Tash! Camping in the eco tents was a real highlight (and much better value than the Yulara resort) - would really recommend camping under the stars over staying in the resort.

Nice hike but kind of expensive

The walk was a little challenging in parts but overall good. Our guide, Mattia, was excellent. My only complaint is the cost was quite high for a hike. Also, It said it came with morning tea but that was just a muffin, a granola bar and some juice. I think that was misrepresented. It’s definitely something you could do without a tour guide, however.

Incredible Outback Adventure

Have been on one previous Autopia tour before, around Kakadu, Katherine and Litchfield. Great guide. Great Views. I couldn't recommend it more. I was slightly nervous about this trip because I wasn't sure it would live up to the last tour, but I was so wrong. Our guide, Léa, l was very friendly and very informative. As a vegetarian, both Autopia tours were so easy to eat at. The age range on our trip was young teens to early nineties, the walks were very flexible and at many points you could choose the difficulty. Incredible experience, glorious views. Highly recommend.

Amazing!

We went on a wonderful 3-day, 2-night tour (Uluru/Kings Canyon) with this company. Our guide, Owen, was fantastic. He provided an incredible immersion into the Australian Outback, sharing both his passion for Aboriginal culture and his love for this part of the country. It offers excellent value for money; you can tick off all the key attractions (and even more) with this tour. We highly recommend it!

More than just a transfer

Driver was punctual, polite, explained safety about the coach ride clearly. He told a good story and history of the cattle stations and private estates along the way. I learnt a lot and he made the long ride more interesting.

Fantastic rour

This was a camping style tour, but in permanently erected tents with single beds and room to stand up in. The tour was tremendous. The scenery was awe inspiring. Walking through the scenery really added to the experience. The driver/guide (Daragh) really knew her stuff - her knowledge was excellent - and she looked after the group really well, preparing the meals as well as conducting the walks and driving. The backup support from the company was great. There was an issue with the bus (probably dirty fuel as it turned out) - we were some distance out of Yulara when it happened, and the company had a backup vehicle for us on our return to Yulara, and organised a meal to eat on the bus instead of having to wait for our destination to eat very late.

Breathtaking

We had the most magical evening (9/8/26) watching Uluru change colours by the sun setting. That in itself was a glorious experience but then we went right to the base of Uluru for our barbecue dinner, under the stars. The staff were exceptional and the food was delicious. It was so special because there wasn't a large group of people so it felt more quiet and intimate than some of the other tours on offer. The night ended with some stargazing, which Rachel did a wonderful job of explaining to us. The night sky was stunning and this was the best night of our trip. Thanks so much to all involved.

Amazing.

Toured with Seit. Full tour with 9 on bus which was a great size to walk with and be able to hear all of Annie’s information. Very informative. We had a cold ish day to walk. Would be very very hot with full sun in summer. Highly recommend. Had an amazing experience. Thanks Annie If you had a car and could get there in on your own you could easily do the walk but the information provided was worth it.
