A truly unique experience and absolutely recommended for those who want to discover a wild and profound side of Australia. The tour is well organized; my guide, Darcy, was excellent both in managing the tour and as a guide, truly easygoing, friendly, and very knowledgeable! In winter, the evening temperatures drop significantly; perhaps some heat source in the tents at least at night could help cope with the cold, but otherwise everything was great! Being able to admire the Uluru and Kata Tjuta site at sunrise and sunset is a spectacle.

We had a fantastic time with Autopia. Damian was a brilliant guide and was very helpful at explaining all of the local highlights and the fascinating cultural history of this amazing area. Highly recommend. We took our two kids aged 11 and nine and they loved it as well, including the swag camping under the spectacular stars!

My guide Matt was great...we weren't packed, only 2 people from Alice Springs and then four on the Uluru tour and BBQ, although 2 people joined us for the BBQ later. Matt was very knowledgeable about the area and also knew a great deal about the significance of Uluru to the Anangu people so that we treated the area with respect. The second day was Kata Tjuta with a lot of wind which was good because it kept all the bugs away. Only regret is I didn't take a longer tour. Maybe next time.

Done the 1 night camping tour with Damian and he was a fantastic host who was very knowledgeable and accommodating.The food was great and plenty of snacks too. Loved the sunset prosecco and cheese a nice treat !Thanks Damian for a great trip!

2-day tour package we took from Alice Springs is not among the tours listed but is on Emu Run website - "2 Day Uluru & Kata Tjuta Tour Package". Emu Run did an excellent job looking after 6 of us. Coach was clean and comfortable, not full so we could spread around for photos from windows. Drivers were informative and efficient - particular shout-out to Yad who escorted us around the Rock on some short walks and related Dreamtime stories about the locations. Evening BBQ was excellent - steaks were tender and perfectly cooked. The Uluru sunset was a disappointment due to cloud - not Emu Run's fault! Second day sunrise tour was by AAT Kings, equally comfortable coach and very informative driver. Magnificent view of Uluru in cloudless sunrise. NOTES: own water bottle is essential - this is a desert! Coaches have plenty of water for refills. Tea, coffee and snacks supplied for sunrise tour, equates to a very light breakfast. Accommodation not included at Alice Springs or Yulara.

Fantastic experience. Troy was so informative and knowledgeable, not to mention the most fun tour guide I’ve ever met!!! He loved his job and was always entertaining us!!! Huge thanks to Troy. Will remember this tour forever.

Amazing trip!!! Very much recommended!! In 2 days and 1 night, you are able to get a flavour of Ulluru and Kata Kjuta outback life, and have an incredible adventure. Very profesional and organised trip, with an incredible Camp Manager, Camile, who made our stay comfortable and like at home. Our guide ASHA was amazing. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, has contagious this positive and team spirit, making us feel incredible all along our adventure. Overall, very very much recommended!!

I had Sid for a tour guide and he was hands down absolutely incredible. He had a remarkable understanding of the area and culture which he shared passionately. Definitely made me wished I had booked a longer stay. However I will certainly be back. Palya!

Excellent way of exploring Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Dion was a great tour guide. Only suggestion would be staying at the Uluru sunrise for longer since we left before it rose.

Great tour complete with visits and activities, well managed and organized, I recommend it 🙂👍 I would have preferred the possibility at the beginning of the tour to go to the place of the overnight stay or the possibility to stop at a foothold along the way of the tour, to be able to change and organize with your luggage, for those like me, came from the airport, instead of immediately starting the adventure in the desert.

Madi our guide was FANTASTIC! The group experience was so fun and welcoming! Being picked up right after my flight was helpful too. Our hikes were informative and fun, and the food and camping were another fun part of the experience - even in the heat of summer! I only booked one night and should have stayed with the group longer!

The instructor and the participants were supper friendly. I had a memorable experience thanks to them. I would like to recommend the tour to my friends.

This tour was excellent, and thanks to it, I had an unforgettable visit to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. My only regret was that I didn’t plan to stay longer! Hats off to our superwoman guide, Sophie! I am grateful to her for driving the van, managing the camp, setting up the meals and snacks, and just keeping us all informed and on schedule. She was also extremely knowledgeable about Uluru and aboriginal culture and briefed us on how to be respectful of the sites. In fact, all of the group (about 15 or so in total) were pleasant, cooperative, and considerate. Plus, they had interesting backgrounds and travel stories to share. We also covered a lot—even for two days! This whole experience was the absolute highlight of my visit to Australia!I also enjoyed the camping experience. Though I have only camped out a small handful of times in my life, I had a good time camping in the Outback. How unforgettable it was to be so close to Uluru and also see the plentiful stars in the night sky! We took turns cleaning the dining area and were responsible for keeping our own tents tidy. The tents didn’t have their own lighting, but each had their own mini generators for you to plug in any devices/appliances. There were also USB ports for me to directly charge my phone. The meals are prepared by the staff, and we had good lunches/dinners and simple but filling breakfasts. The bathrooms were communal and being shared with other groups. I wouldn’t say they were the cleanest, but they were an appreciated amenity nonetheless. I highly recommend this tour!

Bit of confusion around pick up times - Mitch the guide had a completely different time to our joining instructions but no harm done Tour itself good - but that’s not hard given you’re visiting some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet The aforementioned Mitch was a great guide - friendly and knowledgeable The big let down for us was the catering and beverages Food was ok When we did a similar trip 25 years ago we had champagne at sunset, nice canapés, the option of beers by the fireside at camp I noted that other trips had champagne and nice canapés and the camp next to us had marshmallows after dinner for the fire - nice touches There was none of that on our trip Very very basic tbh Disappointing Perhaps I missed the reference to budget trip somewhere when we booked it? Lost in Australia (the agent I booked with some months ago) didn’t mention it either So adventure tours - either be clear it’s a budget trip or up your game cos your competitors have
