Seoul Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Jun was a great and helpful guide! He explained everything clearly, told us what to look out for and what to be careful about, and gave us some useful suggestions. We really enjoyed our DMZ tour with him!

Sadie was phenomenal! You can tell that she loves what she does. She was very informative and knowledgeable. She was communicative and very kind. She was funny. She was wonderful. For the tour to be 8 hours, the time flew by with the agenda she created for us. She gave us the perfect amount of free time to meander. She gave great food suggestions. She was a perfect host. I highly recommend taking this tour if you’re in Seoul.

We had a great tour of the Korean DMZ with Simple.. Our tour guide was excellent - knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, and did a great job explaining the history and significance of the area. The tour was well organised and very informative. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Korea!

Sadie was such a great tour guide! Very good communication, very knowledgeable, and very considerate!

What a night, what an experience. I arrived at the meeting point slightly flustered as I'd never used a subway before. Within a few seconds of meeting Jeff I knew I was in great hands, and then to find our first stop is where a chef I have admired for ever - Anthony Bourdain had actually eaten at the same restaurant. Jeff explained everything he was doing when preparing the Korean bbq and the reasons and history behind the process. Absolutely devine, the food exceptional and Jeff very kindly sent me a list of a few foods I should try while im still here. 100% recommend Jeff and this tour, 10/10 rating from me, a solo traveller....cheers Lyn

Perfect choice of tours, for small and educational tour, of DMZ. Our guide of "Song", and she was delightful, and so informative of the Korean history. She also shared some personal family stories, which we enjoyed hearing. Everything went smoothly, and as planned. Out group, was small at just six. We all had a wonderful day, and it was very educational. Special thanks, to Song! She is just great!

The walk was a memorable experience, and a great activity to do in Seoul if you are interested in stories and behind-the-scenes details, not only about Korean ghost lore, but also about Seoul and Korea in general. Shawn has a lot of local and historical knowledge, which made the whole experience very engaging. Exploring the haunted places was really exciting. It was great to see a completely different side of Seoul and learn about some interesting superstitions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys mysteries and ghost stories.

Must do in Seoul!!!! This hike was beyond. Challenging but so fun and worth it. Our guide Brandon (Byong Ho) was amazing. Picked us up at our hotel, got us kimbap and (surprisingly hot) tea, which we ate together l on the mountain and drove us back to our hotel! My sister and I would never have done this hike if we didn’t have Brandon with us. Could not have been a better day!! Would definitely do this again!!

I’m so glad I did this hike. It was magnificent, especially standing at the top seeing a view beyond my imagination. Brandon was great. I don’t think I would have had the courage to do this without him. He let me set the pace and helped me to choose the best course. He was incredibly helpful. I totally recommend him and this climb.

Jung was such an amazing tour guide! She explained a lot on and off the bus and we got to see a lot of places. We came here on our 1 year wedding anniversary.

Jun was our guide for one introductory day in Seoul! We learned so much as we wanted information on restaurants, street food, markets, museums, and public transit. We love walking and walked almost most 8 miles! Jun took us to his favorite local chicken soup spot and we loved it. He also had the wisdom to get us to the main Palace early to tour before the crowds and see the early changing of the guards. He was informative, personable and fun! Thank you Jun!
