Jun was our guide for one introductory day in Seoul! We learned so much as we wanted information on restaurants, street food, markets, museums, and public transit. We love walking and walked almost most 8 miles! Jun took us to his favorite local chicken soup spot and we loved it. He also had the wisdom to get us to the main Palace early to tour before the crowds and see the early changing of the guards. He was informative, personable and fun! Thank you Jun!

We booked this trip for our first night in Seoul when we got in at 10am.I was feeling pretty rough from jet lag and we were a bit late but the night was fantastic and I’m extremely glad we booked.Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable not only about the food but also the culture and history (do you know why the chopsticks are flat? Do the tour and find out!).The kbbq was amazing Korean barbecue and the fried chicken and beer was perfection; we really enjoyed the atmosphere in both places and Jeff’s company, it is a strong recommend to anyone visiting who wants to go to some authentic restaurants and learn more about the cuisine and food/drink culture.Jeff was the perfect host and also an amazing local - we struggled getting our travel cards and he very patiently helped us at the end of the tour getting them which was a bit of a saga and he didn’t need to help, but absolute legend worked it out for us!

Interesting stories about ghosts and folklore. Fun to walk around at night in different parts of Seoul and hear stories about different ghost sightings and folk beliefs.

This was a very enjoyable ghost tour. I'm glad to have opted for the extended version. Shawn clearly is deeply immersed in Korean history and culture and has an academic and personal interest in these dark stories. He is an excellent storyteller, and he learns each guest's name and takes an interest in where they are from and any paranormal experiences they may have had. I especially enjoyed that this tour led me off of the big, busy boulevards and down charming residential streets. Shawn set the scene by getting the group grounded in the topography of the city of Seoul, and he transmitted his enthusiasm for the beauty and energy of a very special tree, for example. I loved that this transplant-cum-local shared his special appreciation for and connection to this place and its history, and I felt like I got a privileged insider's view into a city I was visiting for only a few days. No bother that I didn't see a ghost on tour ;) I'm looking forward to reading Shawn's book when I return home!

We had a family of six ranging from 11 to 68. We also added a one day trip to Gyeongju. Both our tour guides were thoughtful and considerate of each person’s needs in our group.Our Gyeongju trip was amazing and our guide Dongmin was able to educate us on the history, understanding Buddhism and architecture which was very helpful when we toured Seoul later. He took us to a delicious Ssambap lunch which was very filling. He actually spent more time with our group in order to give a ride personally back to the train station despite us telling him we had planned to catch a taxi as our train left well after our scheduled tour. There’s no way we could have seen everything we wanted without taking this tour. Gyeonju is so spread out but so beautiful!For our Korean Culture & Heritage Tour it was a little hot so we’re thankful that we didn’t have to do all that walking and exploring on our own! Our guide Sean took us to a Michelin star restaurant for their delicious Samgye-tang (Ginseng Chicken soup) and provided much appreciated dinner suggestions and timeframes to be aware of for our dinner out. Changdeokgung Palace was beautiful and we were able to explore the Secret Garden. Sean was also very kind and thoughtful in guiding us to some delicious treats and best shopping areas without overpaying as we explored multiple markets. I am not sure if we would have been able to find some of the spots in Ikseondong without him! Just wish we had more time to try so many of the places recommended but it only means we need to come back to Korea.

Rossi was a very kind and generous tour guide. In addition to showing us the important sites, he took us to his favorite cafe where he introduced us to a refreshing omija berry beverage, and showed us his recommended spots in the Gwangjang Market.

Our private tour with Jin was absolutely fantastic. Jin was excellent at telling all about Seoul & showing us sights we could also return too. We never felt rushed and could ask any questions & Jin could answer them.

We did the Chinese tour. The staff at the site is really kind and helpful, we were nearly late but they tried to help us get on the tour. Eventually, we made it. During the tour, it's interactive and interesting. We were introduced to different places and beautiful site. We took pretty photos.The tram it self is so special that draws a lot of attention but it's really nice to say hi to people on the street.For each season there will be different tours, we would love to come back again!

had a great time with our male tour guide. sorry can't remember name but he had a canadian wife. v informative and knowledgeable. took us to parts we would never have known to go to. only pedal if want to.

Wonderful day tour of Seoul. From palaces, temples to the Market. Our tour guide, Michael gave such a good view into the life of South Koreans and their history and culture. He took us to his favorite restaurant for Ginseng Black Chicken and it was wonderful. From directing us to the best shopping places to the crazy items sold in the market this trip met all of our expectations. My wife and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Seoul.

When I tell you this experience was a 10 out of 10…I mean it! Foreigner friendly I promise. Our tour guide Jake was the absolute best. So friendly and kind hearted. From the beginning to the end he was informative and communicated greatly. Took his time to ensure we had great photos and would offer to take them for us. Also answered any questions we had about the history of the city or general questions. There wasn’t one question Jake wasn’t able to answer. Unfortunately, during one of the walks I slightly rolled my ankle. Jake was so quick to assist me with finding the nearest convenience store. He helped to translate with the staff about my slight injury and they advised what I needed. Within 5 mins of me hurting my ankle I was all patched up. Jake bandaged my ankle with a cold patch and wrap and we were able to continue the tour. I had to move a lot slower to refrain from making my slight injury into a serious one. Jake would walk with me slowly and found me places to sit while he continued to explain to me the history of the sites we were visiting. I never felt rushed and I still got to experience the tour. I highly recommend this private tour to foreigners if your a bit nervous about exploring the city on your own. Jake was fluent in English and Korean which made it so much easier. Thanks again Jake for making this tour a memory that I will keep for a lifetime! ☺️

Absolutely fantastic experience, one of our favorite things we did in Seoul! We took the ghost tour and the lore tour(extended editions!), and Shaun and Joe were incredible guides. The stories were eerie and chilling, with lots of historical context to match. The tours take you all over Seoul, but the pace is nice and easy, you won’t even notice you’ve been walking for two hours. My mom has been listening to the podcast for years so she was especially delighted to see all the places she had only heard about before. Truly a dream come true, and lived up to all the hype! Thank you Shaun and Joe for the memories we’ll treasure forever. We’re already planning our next visit to take the grave walk :)
