He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the DMZ and the Korean Peninsula, and he explained everything in a way that was engaging, thoughtful, and easy to follow. He is also genuinely funny, so the group was laughing throughout the day while still appreciating the seriousness of the place.Shine is also a talented photographer who took beautiful photos of us at every stop, and we are so happy with the pictures. The Tour was more of a Ghost Walk, where Shawn told us all about the spooky legends and ghosts Seoul has to offer. Definitely fitting for this time of year (September/October)! Shawn managed to hit the right mixture between scary and funny so it ended up a really nice experience! We ended up being a smaller size group, so it was quite nice for a more relaxed atmosphere.

We had an amazing time with Jake! He was such a good guide, explained everything to detail, gave us time to explore, good recommendations, helped us with translation and took pictures of us everywhere.

Excellent hike! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to experience Seoul’s nature. Mr. Kim is a great guide who is passionate and knowledgeable about the outdoors. You won’t regret it!

We had such a great day on the DMZ tour with Here Korea Travel. Joo-ee was our guide, and she was so friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. She made the whole day really enjoyable and gave us lots of interesting information about the history of the DMZ. The pickup and drop-off at L'Escape Hotel was super convenient, and the van was comfortable, which made the day even easier. The 3rd Tunnel and Suspension Bridge were really interesting to see in person, and it was definitely something we'll remember from our trip to Korea. A big thank you to Joo-ee for making the day so special. We really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it!

Highly recommend this tour with Yuni! She went above and beyond to make our tour truly memorable. In addition to customizing the tour based on the sites we wanted to see, she also took us to several additional places and helped us with shopping. At the end of the tour, she noticed that we had so many shopping bags. She dropped us off at dinner and then went the extra mile by delivering all of our shopping bags to our hotel for us! Yuni is very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job sharing Korean culture and history with us. She took great care of us throughout the entire tour, and we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend Yuni and would love to tour with her again!

What a night, what an experience. I arrived at the meeting point slightly flustered as I'd never used a subway before. Within a few seconds of meeting Jeff I knew I was in great hands, and then to find our first stop is where a chef I have admired for ever - Anthony Bourdain had actually eaten at the same restaurant. Jeff explained everything he was doing when preparing the Korean bbq and the reasons and history behind the process. Absolutely devine, the food exceptional and Jeff very kindly sent me a list of a few foods I should try while im still here. 100% recommend Jeff and this tour, 10/10 rating from me, a solo traveller....cheers Lyn

Perfect choice of tours, for small and educational tour, of DMZ. Our guide of "Song", and she was delightful, and so informative of the Korean history. She also shared some personal family stories, which we enjoyed hearing. Everything went smoothly, and as planned. Out group, was small at just six. We all had a wonderful day, and it was very educational. Special thanks, to Song! She is just great!

Must do in Seoul!!!! This hike was beyond. Challenging but so fun and worth it. Our guide Brandon (Byong Ho) was amazing. Picked us up at our hotel, got us kimbap and (surprisingly hot) tea, which we ate together l on the mountain and drove us back to our hotel! My sister and I would never have done this hike if we didn’t have Brandon with us. Could not have been a better day!! Would definitely do this again!!
