I'm normally too lazy to write reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience. I was in Sofia for some dental work and found myself with a free day and was looking for a trip to Vitosha. I was fortunate to choose this one and found myself as the only person on the trip. Everything about the experience was top notch. The price was very reasonable. Communication was excellent. Punctuality was exemplary. My guide Simeon was perfect company; intelligent, friendly and patient. On arrival after a short walk Simeon offered my 3 options for our hike and after discussing the pro and cons I decided to go with the hike up to the Black Peak (the summit of Vitosha). I've never done a hike in snow before and am getting on a bit now so appreciated Simeon going at my pace and always being attentive regarding my well being. The path to the summit is well marked by posts and it took about an hour. Near the summit the wind was biting cold and I did find myself wishing I'd put another pair of socks on! Once we reached the summit there is a building and I was quite relieved at the opportunity to step out of the wind for a while. Then to my surprise Simeon opened a door and we walked into a lovely cosy room serving drinks and food. Wow I can only say this felt like heaven! We thawed ourselves and soaked up the ambience for about 30 mins before setting off back down the mountain. Now on the way back down the weather had deteriorated considerably into a full blown blizzard. The guide markers were barely visible and everything was white floor to ceiling. The wind was intense. I never felt in danger but it was easy to imagine a situation where bad things happen such were the conditions (so always prepare appropriately). Eventually we made it safely back to Aleko Hut for some well needed respite and food. To end the trip we had a magical walk back through the snowy alpine forest past the stone river and back to the car. Overall I had a thoroughly enjoyable, exhilarating and memorable experience. Simeon kindly even dropped me back off at the airport rather than my hotel. Thankyou Simeon for a perfect day!

I had an excellent snowshoeing experience with Simeon and cannot recommend him highly enough. From the outset, he was professional, punctual, and extremely well organised. He quickly understood my preferences and adapted the day to match my walking pace and level, ensuring I felt comfortable and supported throughout. Simeon is not only very knowledgeable about the mountains and snow conditions, but also genuinely kind, attentive, and calm in his approach. The experience was never rushed; everything was thoughtfully paced, allowing me to fully enjoy the landscape and the time on the mountain. It was a truly memorable day, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Simeon to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable, and personable snowshoeing guide.

We took this tour to attend the Surva Festival for two consecutive days. The guide, Philip, was very kind and helpful, as well as knowledgeable, and he tailored the tour to our needs regarding times and places to visit. He accompanied us everywhere, explained many interesting things, and answered all our questions. He was very professional, yet friendly. The festival is a wonderful experience in terms of folklore, tradition, and even fun. We saw absolutely incredible masks and costumes. I will definitely return in the future to experience it again.

Lubo is very friendly & speaks excellent English. He was fun to spend a couple of hours with & the tour was a good mix of riding & nuggets of knowledge about the city & its history.

I am so happy that I took the tour. It was a mixture of a great learning experience, as well as an active exercise for me. Lubo, is our very kind and patient Tourguide. He was very knowledgeable and very kind. We saw so many great architecture, we learned about history, we laughed about personal stories, and I feel like I made a new friend. Lubo is a very good listener, he asked questions about what I wanted to see in particular and what my passions are. He then tailored what he showed me based on what was going on in the city. When I told him that I love fashion, we took the scooter near the shopping districts of the city. I also told him that I love architecture so he showed me some of the best architectural gems the city has to offer. Lubo it's one of the kindest people I met in the city. He was always smiling and always very friendly. Apparently he is also a Tourguide for other company, that is why he knows what tourists want. I will definitely recommend the tour to everyone.

It is a professionally organized trip where you can enjoy the Rafting Tour and admire Bulgaria's wonderful Rila Monastery. Founded in the 10th century it is a unique Unesco Heritage site and in all of Europe can only be rivaled by Mesquita Cathedral in Cordoba, Spain, We had a great time.

A day full of sport, emotion, diving and culture, our guide Stefan was able to accompany us with anecdotes about current society and Bulgarian history throughout the journey. I also appreciated the stop at the typical kiosk for lunch. Wonderful experience, I recommend it!

Daniel drove us to Mt Vitosha and he was very knowledgeable about the area etc. His English was amazing and he couldn't do enough to help us. He stayed with us for a little while during our lesson as the instructor English wasn't as good as his..this helped massively. We mentioned we wanted to try bulgarian food to Daniel and he sorted this for our lunch. The skiing lessons were great and everyone was super friendly.100% recommend.

There is no better way to try skiing. Such a hastle free trip… everything is organised… collection from hotel, ski lifts, equipment, clothing. Our guide was amazing- friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and most of all patient. We will definitely do this again. Absolutely amazing. Thank you.

I was picked up at my hotel in the morning and taken to where the bikes and gear are kept. Adrian greeted me with a warm welcome and I was quickly outfitted with very nice riding gear. Adrian completed an overview of the trip, a safety brief, and we were on our way. After a short ride through town, we were soon on the highway heading south from Sofia for about an hour. The traffic was light and this was a nice ride. We stopped at a rest stop and Adrian made sure that I was comfortable and that everything was well. After a quick snack and rest, we were back on the highway. After a short ride, we quickly exited the highway and the real fun began! The ride up the mountain was spectacular! Adrian kept a nice pace and checked on me often (as I had not ridden in a few years). After a 45-minute winding ride up the gorgeous hillside, we arrived at the Rila Monastery. What a beautiful place with a rich history set with high mountain tops in the background. Adrian, who had a tourism degree, provided a detailed account of the amazing story of the monastery from it's beginnings to modern-day.After a few hours strolling around the grounds, we got back on the bikes and went a short way back down the mountain and enjoyed an incredible lunch at a very nice restaurant and sat right next to a beautiful river. The fresh trout was delicious! The tour then took a detour to a very nice winery and I purchased four bottles of wine to enjoy with my wife back in the States. This was a beautiful place, set in the vineyards, surrounded by flowers, with the majestic mountains off in the distance. The last leg was very nice back roads returning to Sofia. Adrian stopped a number of times to point out very interesting aspects from the Soviet era, including an enormous metals factory (miles long), and a portion of the road we were on that, was actually part of an old military runway. The tour ended nearly 10 hours after it began, back at my hotel. I left the bike and front and Adrian returned later to retrieve it. This was a very professional operation and Adrian could not have been a better guide and riding partner. What an amazing day we had! I can not wait to return to beautiful Sofia and it's amazing people and take another tour with this tremendous outfit! Adrian, as promised, provided a really cool video of our day from his 360 degree HD camera so I may revisit the wonderful experience. Well done!

Daniel ( my guide) and I started in town, but, quickly were able to open the bikes up as we cruised the highway heading south out of town. The fun started as we started traveling on secondary roads and enjoying the rolling hills and green countryside. The best part was the ride on the winding mountain roads up to the Rila Monastery. The Rila Monastery is a sight to be seen, words cannot describe it. Due to my time constraints, I opted to forego the included lunch and ride. Daniel picked and enjoyable and fun route back to Sofia, which included winding country roads and a quick visit to a deserted military airfield and it’s decaying revetments. Wish I had more time available for the full day ride with lunch, but, we departed at 9 am and returned to the hotel at 3 pm and that was a great day!

This was an amazing experience and a highlight of our first visit to Sofia. Vitosha National Park is very close to the city and absolutely beautiful when covered in snow. We were lucky to have great weather. We were a bit hesitant as my husband has a bad knee, but our guide Simeon was very caring and supportive, and we managed the hike comfortably from Aleko Hut back to the parking area. The trail was stunning, especially the snowy trees and river stones. A must-do if you’re visiting Sofia!

My visit to Vitosha National Park was a great experience. There was snow, which made the landscape amazing and the walk even more special. Also, our guide Simon was an excellent person, very kind, helpful, and always attentive, which made the visit even better.

Lubomir is a very dedicated tour guide, paying close attention to safety. He is friendly, knows very much of the present and history of his country and his city Sofia. Really nice that he tries to connect with your specific interests.

The guide Ludo was very friendly, told us many interesting things and showed us great spots! We got to know Sofia in a way, we will never forget.

Great experiences and great guides. Not so much water in river but normal for a summer I believe. Rila is also nice
