Oh man, our guide Simeon was such a great guide. This tour is amazing. He picked us up promptly from our hotel base. The rafting was amazing! We met some local Bulgarians in our raft. We had lunch in a small town called Simitli We ended up bumping into the same rafting crew and had such an amazing lunch together. Simeon is absolutely incredible. My goodness what a fun day out(and so different)

We had an amazing kayaking day surrounded by beautiful nature. Everything was well organized, and the experience was perfect for both beginners and those with some experience. Paddling through calm waters, enjoying the fresh air and stunning scenery, was incredibly relaxing.Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the day. There was plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings, take photos, and truly disconnect from the busy world.If you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor experience that lets you appreciate nature from a different perspective, this kayaking trip is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys the outdoors!

We were 5 friends who booked this together, and everyone had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were picked up outside the apartment we were staying in and the driver we had was top notch with service and we had fun conversations during the rafting. On the rafting there were good instructors who provided good training and tips so that anyone who has not tried this before will feel safe the whole way. Our instructor was funny and clear in what he said, so that the whole experience went like a dream. Of course, there has been little rain in the lead up to our rafting, so the water level is far from what it is at its peak in the spring, but this was a fantastic experience.

Really pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Vasil was really good at organizing everything, and it was not too expensive either. I would recommend heading up into the village afterwards as well, as there are some good restaurants/cafes.

When I joined the River Rafting Adventure in Bulgaria, I didn’t really know what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of my trip. The day started with a hotel pickup in Sofia, which was super convenient, and then we drove through beautiful mountain roads on the way to the Struma River. The scenery alone made the ride worth it.When we arrived at the Kresna Gorge, the guides were waiting for us with all the gear—helmets, wetsuits, life jackets—and they explained everything in such a clear and friendly way that even beginners like me felt safe and excited. Once we got on the river, the real fun began. The route was about 8 to 10 kilometers, and it was the perfect mix of fast, bouncy rapids that got everyone screaming and laughing, and calmer sections where we could just relax and take in the cliffs and forests around us.What made it even more special was the way the guides kept the mood upbeat—they joked with us, told stories, and even started little games between the rafts. It felt less like a tour and more like an adventure with friends. By the end, we were all wet, tired, and smiling ear to ear.The ride back to Sofia gave us time to relax and replay the highlights of the day, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how refreshing and energizing it all felt. It was the perfect mix of adrenaline, teamwork, and nature—something I’ll definitely never forget.

First time my husband and I contacted Epic Tours for kayaking at Pancharevo was more than 5 years ago. The reliable, experienced and motivated guides helped us in collecting confidence to explore with them daily trips to other lakes in Bulgaria and multi-days sea tours in Greece. I can't imagine any more spending holidays at the seashore under a sun umbrella...

Excellent pastime to discover the slightly more hidden places of Sofia. We arrived there by public transport. Very kind staff and wonderful view!

Vasil was so kind and professional. We had a great time and fun with the kayak in the lake. I recommend it for relax and also fun with friends. The place is easily reachable from the city with public transports. Most important thing, you can do this activity without any experience!

I wanted a quick escape from the hustle of the city. From start to finish every aspect of the tour met my expectations. They even gave me additional 30 minutes on the water!! The tour guide was great. His knowledge and passion were evident from the very beginning. Hi provided me with detailed safety instructions and basic paddling technique. Most definitely I will come back again!
