We had such a great time! Did not know that the midges are the pollinators of the cacao beans. What a wonderful and educational experience we had.

Blown away by the value and quality of the food we got, the time we spent, and the experience! I left with my stomach full and a learning experience I will never forget. Stephen incorporates the sciences behind how and why certain aspects of cooking are done a certain way. The lessons I learned are applicable to many facets of cooking and I am grateful I was able to be a part of this experience.Stephen also has a beautiful home and a super cute dog which only made it that much better.

Not only was the food great, but Steven is an excellent teacher and I learned a lot. Breaking down how and why cooking reactions happen makes it easier to understand cooking in general. I’ve done it twice and will definitely do it again.

The tour was a perfect mix of informative and fun. Absolutely loved that we got to make our own bars of chocolate. Would definitely recommend to others both in and out of Bend Oregon.

If you enjoy a high tea service, you should visit this spot. It lives in a strip mall and the space is nothing special, but the tea service was outstanding. All the food was incredible and the tea delightful. We didn't get any chocolate - there wasn't much in the display case but what was there was beautiful, I wish there had been a bigger selection as it would have been nice to try a few pieces. There were three tables having the tea service and only one young man taking care of all three. He did the best he could but probably would have benefited by having a second one helping out. Regardless, I would recommend this spot in a heartbeat to anyone who likes a tea service.

Chef Steven is an amazing teacher and chef. The food was outstanding and we gained new insights on the craft of grilling techniques. Highly encourage this wonderful event.

Very informative. Covered all aspects of making chocolate. The chocolate samples were great, and plentiful! Purchased several bars and hot chocolate mix.

I really enjoyed learning more about cacao: varietals, history, ethical sourcing, processing, and of course, flavor influences and nuances. Chocolate Tour is highly recommended.

My wife and I took the grilling class with six other people. Chef Steven is an excellent teacher, talented chef, and warm host. We were surprised by how much we learned and how much we enjoyed the experience. It was as much of a classroom as a friendly supper club. We will be taking more classes!

The tour guide was amazing! She was VERY knowledgeable and in-depth about the process of making chocolate. I and the rest of the group left with a load of knowledge and chocolate. Such a fun experience! 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Educational, fun, and delicious experience. Highly recommend for anyone that loves chocolate, and wants to learn more about the process from a group of people that care about sourcing and doing things the right way.

This was focused on growing and roasting chocolate beans. It was very informative and a tour guide was knowledgeable. She had us pour our own chocolate bar and then package it to take home. It was a fun tour and I would recommend it to couples or families with teenagers. We did have trouble finding shop. GPS leaves you on the street in this industrial looking area. Their sign is flat on the building above the door.

The hosts were very knowledgeable in the area of chocolate and I appreciated there association with high quality cacao farms. Only dark chocolate is available.
