Cool Destinations never disappoints! My wife and I booked this shoe-making workshop, and it was a blast! Jimmy guided us through the process of making traditional wooden shoes by hand, which is no easy task. While we didn't finish ours entirely by hand, Jimmy used a machine for the final steps. Though we didn't complete every part ourselves, the experience of making them was incredibly fun. In addition, we painted small wooden shoe bottle openers and enjoyed several cheese tastings. Speaking of cheese, they also walked us through the cheesemaking process, explaining how it's made from start to finish. It was a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend!

Super nice educational workshop together with my mother, we made our own perfume and it was allowed to take home and it is also possible to do a reorder. I recommend it to everyone.

Last Thursday, we had our team outing. It was a wonderful experience. After a warm welcome from our host Arielle and an introduction round, we got to work. Arielle told us everything about scent, proportions, and the composition of perfume. We smelled 10 different fragrances and then chose our favorite scents to create our own perfume. Besides being very interesting, it was also great fun to get to know our team better. Because we had already booked dinner, we opted for a 2-hour workshop, but we could easily have filled 3 hours; then we would have had a choice of 25 scents to create our perfume. The Kintsugi workshop was a great experience. Puzzling and slowly creating something beautiful and unique. The location is very interesting and Annelies is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Annelies was very nice and welcoming. We had a fun time learning about kintsugi and will definitely be applying it to something at home. She had items that we broke for the activity and it proabablyneoukdve been fun to bring one of our own to fix. Definitely would recommend!

Lovely experience - everyone was so kind! Loved the painting class and would recommend doing the tour prior before the buses of visitors arrive.

We had a lovely time painting our clogs, followed by a clog making demonstration and also a short talk about cheese making. Also had the opportunity to taste some of the cheeses. Would recommend this for relaxing change of pace from city centre Amsterdam

Art Therapy in a lovely family farm. The hosts are so kind. Such sweet spirits and just allowed us to be creative. We had a free tour of the cheese and clogs, actually a personal and private tour by Roan, the son. Again a family business and they show so much pride. Try the smoked cheese!!!

I gave the workshop as a gift to my wife together with her mother. They had a super fun time and made great perfumes. Definitely recommended!

Taking this workshop, gives you that extra insight to making of perfumes and finding what scents you like. Arielle is very knowledgeable and her energy is so calming. She starts it off with breathing exercise which creates a wholesome, war and relaxed atmosphere.

Great workshop in a really cool, creative setting with a supportive environment and teacher. Enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it!

I surprised my girlfriend with this workshop for her birthday and it was the perfect experience! Annelies gave a lot of guidance throughout and we came away with some really great results too. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique creative activity and with steady hands ;)

Something unique and fun to do. My 14 yr old son and I painted wooden shoes, had lunch and then did the cheese making workshop. Had lots of fun.

Such a fun activity! I am a solo traveler and I love to paint. I enjoyed getting out of Amsterdam and seeing the countryside. Everyone working here is very kind and speak English 😀 The ticket included all art supplies, stencils, the clogs and a coffee. I highly recommend a visit and this activity because now I have a special souvenir and a fun memory.

When we arrived we were a little confused as there was no clear signs and the first few people we spoke to weren’t sure what we were on about - but eventually we did find the person that was organising it. We were told that we could paint two small ceramics or one big one (there was plenty to choose from). We sat at the table and were left alone (which we liked) and someone came and checked up on us every hour. However the listing said that there were complimentary snacks and drinks which unfortunately wasn’t true and we had to pay €6 for two small glasses of drink. Overall, the painting experience was pleasant, we put on some music and had a fun time painting.

The guy doing demo knows our language. He was very patient in our queries. Nice to see how shoes and cheese are made. The staff inside are very accomodating. Ended up buying shoes and most of all , lots of those Gouda cheese.
