The ride was fun, the views were beautiful, and we saw lots of horses! Justin, our tour guide -driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Better experience (less frustrating) if you leave from the starting point. The audio did cut out but that was because the phone dropped service. Very educational.

Amazing to see wild horses on the loose. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. He stopped often to give us details - even knew the horses names. The trip was advertised as two hours, but we actually spent two hours and 40 minutes out. You drive north of Corolla down the beach and through two towns that have sand streets - we went almost to the Virginia border. We didn't see any horses on the beach - stroke of luck if you do - many were grazing through neighborhoods and eating landscaping around homes. We saw 20 horses out of a herd of 219 that are out there. Very amazing place to visit. We saw some other tours out there with Hummers - maybe a plus to ride facing forward vs riding sideways in the back of the truck on padded benches, but we were out way longer than they were and our guide knew where to look whereas the competition didn't appear to be that knowledgeable. We had made our reservation in advance for 9:00 am. We received a text the evening before advising that rain was forecast early in the morning, could we postpone our start time to 11:00 am after the rain was scheduled to end? We replied that would be ok. You need to report to their office - a shack back under a tree - 30 minutes prior to departure.

This was a nice walking tour to do for something different. The guide was nice and entertaining. Only issue we had was we were told to be at the meeting place 15 minutes early and we ended up waiting for almost 30 minutes after the posted start time for all to arrive. I don't think late people should holdup an entire group.

Our tour guide BJ is exceptional! She made the tour fun and creepy! She is so knowledgable. What s great time!

The flight instructors were very patient with the group of 5 we were a part of. Each person got 5 flights down the dune. There was good wind. You never felt scared because they went right beside you giving instructions the whole way down! What a great way to check this off the bucket list!

I love ghost tours. Ghost tours provide the history that other sources don't. This ghost tour exceeded expectations. The guide had done copious research on the history and lore of the Outer Banks. I took someone for their first ghost tour and they loved it. If you have never done a ghost tour, this is great one to cut your teeth on. If you are a ghost tour regular, this tour is not to be missed.

Was very informative. Our guide was thorough and fun. Learned a lot about Manteo and their residents from past to present.

The "Man" is truly the Man when it comes to history. What a Great time we had. This was not (by far) the most money we spent at the OBX but it was most certainly the best. If not a word or a step would be different, I would gladly pay to do this again. If you are going to be in the OBX area and miss this, then that is on you.THANKS Chief! kw & aw from TN.

Chief is so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of OBX! We learned so much on the tour and can’t wait to visit the places outside Manteo that he recommended! Such an amazing experience!

Courtney was a great guide- we (two adults, two kids) had four separate kayaks and enjoyed every minute. We saw two gators, but had just as good a time when we were paddling through the first river. A great experience.

Such a fun-filled journey! Our personal event guide and cheerleader, MaryAnne, was positively wonderful and very helpful. We had a chance to explore more of the beautiful area of Nags Head and have a hilariously good time - truly an unforgettable experience!

Amazing morning trip! Perfect day; the water literally was like glass. Peaceful (except when the military jets out of Virginia passed overhead) and very relaxing. Our guide Courtney was amazing; knowledgeable, personable, and very patient with us amateur paddlers (thanks for getting my wife off that log). She pointed out the gators (at least 5-6) and other interesting things. Don’t let your fear of the outdoors or your inexperience keep you from this wonderful trip. Thanks you Courtney!

Kayaks are a little old but the girls who helped get us going were super friendly. We were the only ones on the water during our time so it was very relaxing and we could go at our own pace. Saw a couple turtles, some ducks, and a blue heron on our adventure. Very peaceful.

The boys had a great time with the instructors, they are so energetic and attentive .Also the view is amazing. Definitely will come back!

I was surprised at how central the tour was. It was really perfect for the whole family to do together. We were a little bummed there wasn't much wildlife to see when we went but that has nothing to do with the tour of course.
