Fantastic Tour of Modena with Lorenzo! We had a wonderful time exploring Modena with Lorenzo! He was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about his city. We loved learning about Modena’s history and food traditions while exploring the beautiful historic center and market. Lorenzo shared so many interesting stories and local insights that we never would have discovered on our own. He kept the tour relaxed and enjoyable and was very attentive to everyone in our group. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip through Emilia-Romagna. We would highly recommend this tour, and especially Lorenzo, to anyone visiting Modena. Five stars!

Learn the tips that cause pasta to be perfect in a typical Italian family kitchen. Lara was delightful and explained everything clearly and followed through with the recipes. Our meal was Delicious! Lara is a gracious hostess. The home made pasta sauce she made it with her mother a week earlier was amazing!

What a fantastic experience!
Had such a great time at Acetaia Marchi! My guide was fun, passionate, and clearly knew everything there was to know about balsamic vinegar. The tour through the aging rooms was fascinating. I had no idea how much time and tradition goes into every bottle. And then the tasting... wow. The balsamic itself is simply amazing, left with a few bottles and zero regrets. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Modena!

I would book it again
The tour was absolutely fantastic. The estate was beautiful, very well maintained, and impressive to see. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything very clearly. The whole experience was both fascinating and educational, and we learned a lot about traditional balsamic vinegar that we didn’t know before. The balsamic vinegar itself was also absolutely delicious. Overall, a very interesting and enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend!

This guide was amazing! The experiences at all the different locations was great. I wish I had read the text beforehand as you needed to book and pay an admission fee for some of the places. The tour took me around 2 hours but that was without going into the different paid experiences. The area was pretty quiet with minimal crowds, which made it easy to look around freely! The tour is best people that want to learn more about Modena and want to see all the best places without just wondering around! My husband went to the Ferrari museum so this tour was ideal for me to go a look around and it’s the tour took help me!

This was a great way to visit some local producers of regional specialties. Alessandro was a great guide and very friendly. First we toured the Parmesano Reggio factory, saw it being made, and tasted 3 ages. Then we visited a small balsamic producer and the owner did a guided tasting with us. Finally we went to a small family vineyard and did a wine tasting with the owner. It was the perfect way to immerse yourself in the region. Alessandro gave just a great recommendation for lunch afterward too.

This was our favorite package I purchased for my wedding honeymoon. We started with the Parmesan tour and tasting which was phenomenal. Followed up by going to Origine 1977 which was the balsamic tour. This tour was the highlight of our entire trip. Laura gave us a tour of her property which was truly spectacular. She showed us the grape vines in her backyard and took us upstairs to her attic where the barrels are sleeping. The smell is something I will never forget. She showed us the work that goes into true balsamic. Then she had us taste them all. Unbelievable. My favorite part was how kind Laura was. She brought out ice cream for us to try with the balsamic. She let us try as much as we wanted and just chatted with us. Truly taking the time to know us and inform us as much as possible. The tour concluded and we went to lunch which was also amazing. A true mom and pop spot. Overall for the price of this you’d be silly to pass it up.
