Very good experience. Our driver Gene was fantastic. On time, very reliable and perfect driver. The two hour drive from Sofia to the Rila lake Cable car was very enjoyable. It’s very nice that you can plan your own time to hike.

Amazing trip. Was a little crowded but absolutely worth it. Summiting was amazing but it is a real hike - not for the timid or beginner. Luckily there is a water refill source on the way. Driver was wonderful. Audio guide did not add much.

I'm normally too lazy to write reviews but I feel compelled to share my experience. I was in Sofia for some dental work and found myself with a free day and was looking for a trip to Vitosha. I was fortunate to choose this one and found myself as the only person on the trip. Everything about the experience was top notch. The price was very reasonable. Communication was excellent. Punctuality was exemplary. My guide Simeon was perfect company; intelligent, friendly and patient. On arrival after a short walk Simeon offered my 3 options for our hike and after discussing the pro and cons I decided to go with the hike up to the Black Peak (the summit of Vitosha). I've never done a hike in snow before and am getting on a bit now so appreciated Simeon going at my pace and always being attentive regarding my well being. The path to the summit is well marked by posts and it took about an hour. Near the summit the wind was biting cold and I did find myself wishing I'd put another pair of socks on! Once we reached the summit there is a building and I was quite relieved at the opportunity to step out of the wind for a while. Then to my surprise Simeon opened a door and we walked into a lovely cosy room serving drinks and food. Wow I can only say this felt like heaven! We thawed ourselves and soaked up the ambience for about 30 mins before setting off back down the mountain. Now on the way back down the weather had deteriorated considerably into a full blown blizzard. The guide markers were barely visible and everything was white floor to ceiling. The wind was intense. I never felt in danger but it was easy to imagine a situation where bad things happen such were the conditions (so always prepare appropriately). Eventually we made it safely back to Aleko Hut for some well needed respite and food. To end the trip we had a magical walk back through the snowy alpine forest past the stone river and back to the car. Overall I had a thoroughly enjoyable, exhilarating and memorable experience. Simeon kindly even dropped me back off at the airport rather than my hotel. Thankyou Simeon for a perfect day!

I had an excellent snowshoeing experience with Simeon and cannot recommend him highly enough. From the outset, he was professional, punctual, and extremely well organised. He quickly understood my preferences and adapted the day to match my walking pace and level, ensuring I felt comfortable and supported throughout. Simeon is not only very knowledgeable about the mountains and snow conditions, but also genuinely kind, attentive, and calm in his approach. The experience was never rushed; everything was thoughtfully paced, allowing me to fully enjoy the landscape and the time on the mountain. It was a truly memorable day, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Simeon to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable, and personable snowshoeing guide.

We took this tour to attend the Surva Festival for two consecutive days. The guide, Philip, was very kind and helpful, as well as knowledgeable, and he tailored the tour to our needs regarding times and places to visit. He accompanied us everywhere, explained many interesting things, and answered all our questions. He was very professional, yet friendly. The festival is a wonderful experience in terms of folklore, tradition, and even fun. We saw absolutely incredible masks and costumes. I will definitely return in the future to experience it again.

Lubo is very friendly & speaks excellent English. He was fun to spend a couple of hours with & the tour was a good mix of riding & nuggets of knowledge about the city & its history.

I am so happy that I took the tour. It was a mixture of a great learning experience, as well as an active exercise for me. Lubo, is our very kind and patient Tourguide. He was very knowledgeable and very kind. We saw so many great architecture, we learned about history, we laughed about personal stories, and I feel like I made a new friend. Lubo is a very good listener, he asked questions about what I wanted to see in particular and what my passions are. He then tailored what he showed me based on what was going on in the city. When I told him that I love fashion, we took the scooter near the shopping districts of the city. I also told him that I love architecture so he showed me some of the best architectural gems the city has to offer. Lubo it's one of the kindest people I met in the city. He was always smiling and always very friendly. Apparently he is also a Tourguide for other company, that is why he knows what tourists want. I will definitely recommend the tour to everyone.

It is a professionally organized trip where you can enjoy the Rafting Tour and admire Bulgaria's wonderful Rila Monastery. Founded in the 10th century it is a unique Unesco Heritage site and in all of Europe can only be rivaled by Mesquita Cathedral in Cordoba, Spain, We had a great time.

A day full of sport, emotion, diving and culture, our guide Stefan was able to accompany us with anecdotes about current society and Bulgarian history throughout the journey. I also appreciated the stop at the typical kiosk for lunch. Wonderful experience, I recommend it!

Excellent experience, definitely worth the money. Nice smooth drive with quad bikes backed by excellent views and sites would definitely recommend!!

Daniel drove us to Mt Vitosha and he was very knowledgeable about the area etc. His English was amazing and he couldn't do enough to help us. He stayed with us for a little while during our lesson as the instructor English wasn't as good as his..this helped massively.We mentioned we wanted to try bulgarian food to Daniel and he sorted this for our lunch.The skiing lessons were great and everyone was super friendly.100% recommend.

With a bike we discovered the city center of Sofia, great way to see the city and its buildings. Good tour guide! Also had the opportunity to have a break and drink something at a restaurant

We had a Quad bike drive experience in October. My mates and I were surprised by the trek. It was great fun Very pictures off-road trek. Give 5 stars.

There is no better way to try skiing. Such a hastle free trip… everything is organised… collection from hotel, ski lifts, equipment, clothing. Our guide was amazing- friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and most of all patient. We will definitely do this again. Absolutely amazing. Thank you.

Awsome experience! Saw lakes, beautiful mountains, even saw The celebration of the Divine Cosmic New Year by the Universal White Brotherhood! Finished our walk ~ 4h. Driver Simeon was great too!🤝🏽We do recommend this!💯

This was an amazing experience and a highlight of our first visit to Sofia. Vitosha National Park is very close to the city and absolutely beautiful when covered in snow. We were lucky to have great weather. We were a bit hesitant as my husband has a bad knee, but our guide Simeon was very caring and supportive, and we managed the hike comfortably from Aleko Hut back to the parking area. The trail was stunning, especially the snowy trees and river stones. A must-do if you’re visiting Sofia!
