This was a lovely workshop introducing us to copper craftsmanship. The instructor was friendly and very patient especially as this craftsmanship is trickier than you would expect. We made a bookmark and fridge magnet, although you are given the choice to make jewellery too. The whole experience was great value for money and the instructor was honest and hardworking

We had an excellent time at the copper workshop. The short tour with Mak before was informative, and the workshop with Suleymen was fantastic. The workshop has limited spots, which was nice when we were in the workshop and learning from Suleymen. The workshop gave us a deeper appreciation for the difficulty of copper working, and we greatly appreciated Suleymen’s help with finishing our pieces. Suleymen and his brother were friendly, funny, and informative as we spent several hours in his workshop. Would highly recommend this excursion to anyone taking a trip to Sarajevo!

Mr Besim is a great guide, he shows everything and he gets a lots of feedback. He is very friendly. The programme was fantastic!

This experience was a lot of fun. We had a blast. The brother of the owner was our teacher. Even though I wasn't the best at holding/using the tools, he was very patient and attentive. My friend, who was a natural according to the teacher, got a lot of compliments from him. To add to that, he was fun to talk to. Thanks to him, we now have a unique and petty souvenir to take home. Would recommend!Ps. Just text the owner to set a time after you've booked!

The coppersmith workshop was absolutely fantastic, we have just finished it this afternoon. Unfortunately Funky tours is a third party involved in the booking and they are completely incompetent, but the coppersmith host is amazing and we had such a great time with her. If you book with funky tours, double check your booking confirmation with them as they have no idea what's going on. If you can choose this tour elsewhere with another company that also uses this same female coppersmith (she is the only female in her profession), then I'd recommend booking it with the other company.

This was a very fun activity. We began the experience by a short walk from the Funky Tour office to the copper workshop/business. The shop owner was very friendly and immediately made us feel comfortable over a cup of coffee and tea. We decided to make decorative souvenir type magnets. All the tools and instruction were provided and we enjoyed several hours of laughing and enjoying our time. We really enjoyed the experience, perfect if the weather outside is not so good. It gave us a new appreciation of how skilled the local coppersmiths really are in their craft.

Charming and fun…really wanted us to make a nice bracelet and enjoy ourselves…his shop was in a nice community- lots of indolent cats! This was a very pleasant experience and we love and still wear our bracelets! I highly recommend…

I loved getting to chat and learn about the copper making craft. The host is the only female in her industry in Sarajevo. She gave so much incite on the craft as well as what life is like in Sarajevo. Coming home with my very own Bosnian coffee post was the cherry on top of a wonderful afternoon! I absolutely recommend adding this to your itinerary.

my friends and i (eight of us) just wrapped up our funtastic holiday with Funky Tours. In Apr this year, i found Funky tours website and i email Funky Tours to make enquiry after reading positive review from Trip Adviser.Ema was quick to response to my queries and thru several emails, she managed to come out with a detailed itinerary, to include both hiking and cultural activities .Ema has also offered lots of suggestions, which was really helpful.We had such a great and memorable time in Zagreb, Bosnia and Herzegovina.The hotels selection by Funky Tours was great too. The hotel is of great standard, good comfortable beds, great breakfast selection, and great location .Our guides were awesome and professional tooEveryone in Funky Tours are just awesome.

Just wow! Sulejmen is a crazy guy - open to everything, funny, authentic and also a bit crazy, like all artists! Also the production of my feat was a lot of fun. I got perfect instructions and quite honestly: I'm smoothly a bit proud of myself :-) Definitely recommended.

My husband and I both had a blast! We first enjoyed a short tour and were told how art played a large roll in rejuvenation of the city after the war. Then we headed to the studio to create our own artwork. The instructor was amazing, we laughed, learned and left with a souvenir of our own creation. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This experience really showcases the skill required to make any object out of a flat piece of tin. Our guide was patient and kind. My husband did all the hard work and I watched in appreciation.

This was such a quirky and fun experience for us and the guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide, Mak, was really personable and great to talk to. He had a great knowledge of the city, country, and of the artwork therein and we got a lot out of our time on this tour, and of the full day to Mostar tour the following day.What stands these tours apart from others, we thought, is that the guides speak to you as friends and are very open and generous with their time. I really think that says a lot about how the company is run and the type of people that work there and I cannot recommend them more.
