My wife was working this week so I figured I would go do some activities solo around the hotel we were staying at. This submarine ride came up and I thought “oh wow how cool” so I signed up. My wife and I used to scuba dive a lot pre kids and this submarine ride brought all those amazing memories back again.

Be sure to ask for your guide Pappa P... he is the absolute best. Not only does he provide snacks and drinks, but tells interesting things about the history of the area as we move from place to place.He goes out of his way to make sure his guests are comfortable.

What can we say about Captain Vince and this tour? He is simply the best on Oahu. Knowledgeable, punctual, engaging, and genuinely fun all at once, Captain Vince turned our day into an unforgettable experience. Our family learned so much about the island in just one day, and he expertly guided us to the best photo spots as well as the most popular local food places. The staff was helpful and friendly. the audio recording matched with the map and made the hike more interesting. The last part of the hike is challenging (I have a knee issue) but I was able to get to the top. I see the necessity of the schedule with some of the narrow areas and people going both up and down. My only comment is when I was scheduling this trip, it was not clear that you needed a park pass and the audio recording is just an extra. I heard someone in my hotel say he was going to hike Diamond Head & the employee asked if he had scheduled it. No he hadn't. I suggest just adding to Diamond Head description on the internet that you must schedule a date & get a pass
