This self-guided narrated tour takes you along the historic crater trail, while sharing the rich history of Hawaii; from its volcanic formation and Native Hawaiian traditions, to its military role during the early 1900's. Learn how ancient Hawaiians considered Diamond Head a sacred location and how the US Military used Diamond Head for their first line of defense in protecting Oahu's southern shores during World War II.
Reservation and Fees for Entry and Parking are NOT included.
This tour DOES NOT include Admission/entry OR parking fees to enter Diamond Head State Monument. Kama’aina can enjoy free admission and parking with a Valid Hawaii ID. Parking is limited. For entry and parking reservations (must be made in advance) visit the Go State Parks Hawaii site.
