Visit to Constanta and the Black Sea
The drive was as advertised but felt long. The highlight of the drive was getting to know our guide who was a charming young mother of two (10 and 5) who told us about Romanian history and the change from communist days to present. She also told us a little of her daily life when she wasn't guiding tours. We had a lovely lunch at the Casino on the edge of the Black Sea and visited an interesting Constanta museum.

We stayed in Constance, a beautiful town on the Black Sea. We had Serban Riga-Fereu as a Guide, who in addition to being helpful and friendly, illustrated the historical and architectural features well. Also in the path inside the Museum of National History and Archaeology, he demonstrated a very high competence of Greek and Roman history and artifacts. Thank you for the interesting tour. Our tour guide was Radu and he was amazing! We actually got picked up in Bucharest and it was a one day trip to the Turda Salt Mine and back to Bucharest, which is what we wanted. Turda Salt Mine was quite a sight and is worth a visit if you are up north already. We scheduled another tour trip with Radu several days later to the Slanic Prahova Salt Mine and that was absolutely stunning, amazing, and breathtaking! He also took us to the Snagov Monastery, which is the burial place of Vlad the Impaler, it is worth a visit! Radu is absolutely a great tour guide with great suggestions and options!

Turda Salt Mine is five hours away from Bucharest- So booking a this tour guide was amazing! Radu was so great, he was our personal driver and there was never any feeling of the time not being our own. Stops when we wanted along the way and answers to all of our questions! He personally walked us into the mine and showed us where everything was! Then gave us as much time as we wanted to explore! I can recommend him and the tour company to anyone going!!!

The team at Travelmaker were efficient & professional in providing our day tour to Constanta, Tomis & the Black Sea. We visited all the sights we wished to see, experienced local life with interesting walks along the promenade, around the marina and along the beach for a paddle or swim. Enjoyed lunch at an authentic local restaurant and learnt so much about Romania and this local area from our exceptional guide, Narcis. His willingness to share his knowledge and answer any questions was very much appreciated, along with his amiable personality which made this tour one of the best highlights of my many travels. Thank You Travelmaker & Narcis & Aurora for a truly memorable day.

We stopped at a restaurant in Bulgaria recommended by Angelica - the food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Lots of photo opportunities - I would definately recommend this tour !

We spent 5 beautiful days in Romania and booked two amazing trips with Romania Tourstore. Everything was perfectly organized. We enjoyed both days and created unforgettable memories. Ion, our tour guide made each trip even more enjoyable. Very knowledgeable, he answered all our questions and shared with us fun and historical facts that made his stories even more interesting. Although the trips were 2 to 3 hours long, Ion made sure that everyone is feeling comfortable. he even showed us hidden gems that were amazing to explore. Next time we will definitely book a long tour with them. If you want to enjoy your vacation, relax and explore, Romania Tourstore is what you are looking for. Highly recommended!

Wonderful adventure!
This private tour of the seaside resort of Constanta was phenomenal. My guide, Claudiu, was friendly and knowledgeable. He brought me to the local mosque where I climbed the minaret, explained the various historical sites, including the casino. Then we had a wonderful lunch at a Greek restaurant. By the end of the excursion, I felt I had made a new friend in Claudiu. I highly recommend this experience.

It is a long trip and we started early at 7am. Being a weekend it was busy soon after getting on the motorway. Glad we didn’t leave later!!! Christian speaks English very well and is full of knowledge and passion for Romania. A safe and ‘efficient’ driver we had as many stops as we needed for food and bathroom breaks and still managed to get to Constanta with as much time as we wanted. If there is something that you especially wanted to do or see nothing was too much trouble for him. We had a swim in the Black Sea, enjoyed a few drinks at Mikes bar and then his recommendation of lunch at a Greek restaurant was much appreciated. No kickbacks just his personal recommendation. He showed us a few Mosques and the Casino and the local markets were on. It was a quick trip back and we thoroughly enjoyed his time and jokes.

Our trip to the salt mine was absolutely amazing! Alin was not only funny and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable. He knows everythinggg about Romania! Honestly, elect him as Prime Minister. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the whole day, took great photos for us, and even recommended a lovely restaurant on the hilltops in the countryside with beautiful views, which he took us to.Although it’s an early start, we felt safe the entire time (even when we dozed off in the car!) And Alin’s communication was excellent from start to finish. If you want a guide who honestly feels like a friend, this is the one to book. 100% worth the price. Highly recommended! Thank you for having us Alin!
