Excellent organised tour
Excellent bfast stop around 7.15. Yes, there are toilets upon arrival at the walks ( and on bus if urgent). If you are doing the Rim walk, you sign an indemnity form on the bus that you do have three litres of water with you… and this is checked upon arrival. The alternative creek walk is very nice ( a couple of walkers on the Rim walk did struggle and needed the guides assistance, holding up the group and bus schedule a little bit). When you’ve finished your walks, Kings canyon resort has a very good hotel for food and drinks. On the way back to Yulara, there’s a quick roadside toilet stop and another stop at an impressive cattle station for toilet and snacks. Lovely guides and bus driver. AAT: please update your phone charging ports to suit the newer phones. Coaches are comfortable with plenty of room for backpacks etc…

It's a tough walk
It was a tough walk. The landscape was breathtaking. Being given the option to try the rim walk was great. If after the first 200 (out of 500) steps you want to turn back you can. I chose to stay. It wasn't an easy walk. Made much harder by being told you have to carry 3lts of water. I probably drank 1.5 liters. The breakfast was fantastic! Much better than I expected. The guides and driver were really great. Great tour! If you are fit and healthy, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic early morning breakfast, sunrise viewing of Uluru & Kata Tjuṯa & Waḻpa Gorge walk.The views of Uluru were spectacular due to the cloud covering that morning. Absolutely stunning. The viewing platforms are crowded but there are other vantage points to escape the bus loads of people.Breakfast was near the start of the Waḻpa Gorge walk. It was a sit down breakfast with ample food and beverages provided. The backdrop of Kata Tjuṯa was spectacular.The Waḻpa Gorge walk is easy & flat but over uneven ground and slippery when wet. Good sturdy walking shoes are suggested. The walk is lovely and the gorge is beautiful & quiet. A stunning area.Our guide Alex was excellent - an Italian who was doing a second year in the Uluru area. He provided a lot of information regarding the formation of Kata Tjuṯa. He was knowledgeable & personable and made our tour.The small group size was excellent as it allowed you to engage with the tour guide more easily.I would highly recommend this tour.

Great way to experience Uluru
A great experience with a knowledgeable guide. The path is flat and often sandy - never made up, but a few boardwalks. we stopped for commentary at 8/9 sacred sights and were well informed. The stops help break up the walk that is more than 7 miles after trips to the sacred spaces and waterfalls. Walking is the best way rather than cycling or segways, as walking really helps you experience the enormity of the rock. Starting at sunrise adds an extra dimension, and Sonia was a great guide. Don't be put off - do it

Nice hike but kind of expensive
The walk was a little challenging in parts but overall good. Our guide, Mattia, was excellent. My only complaint is the cost was quite high for a hike. Also, It said it came with morning tea but that was just a muffin, a granola bar and some juice. I think that was misrepresented. It’s definitely something you could do without a tour guide, however.

Amazing.
Toured with Seit. Full tour with 9 on bus which was a great size to walk with and be able to hear all of Annie’s information. Very informative. We had a cold ish day to walk. Would be very very hot with full sun in summer. Highly recommend. Had an amazing experience. Thanks AnnieIf you had a car and could get there in on your own you could easily do the walk but the information provided was worth it.

We had a fantastic time with Autopia. Damian was a brilliant guide and was very helpful at explaining all of the local highlights and the fascinating cultural history of this amazing area. Highly recommend. We took our two kids aged 11 and nine and they loved it as well, including the swag camping under the spectacular stars!

We initially wanted to do the rim walk. But we were quite exhausted after another day tour beforehand. Really grateful for the warm reminders about the rim walk, and the alternative leisurely walk and helicopter add-on option. We could still enjoy the best of Kings Canyon. We love all the stories and histories shared by the team along the journey. One of the best coach tour I have ever joined in Australia!

Alli was a great guide, very informative and still managed to present breakfast in a howling wind where the toast was blowing off the burner. It was great to see Kata Tjuta from so many angles and the walk was the perfect length.
